Wraith Like Me is the journey of a woman from childhood through her mid-30s. These strange poems chronicle her experiences with trauma, abuse, anxiety, and a bottomless rage. The words begin the trails of healing, hope, and self-acceptance (a story that will continue in future poetry collections).

While these poems largely follow the experiences of one woman, listeners will find their own struggles and truths reflected as well. Wraith Like Me is the story of an everywoman told in the raw, the naked, and the exposed. Listeners should come prepared to be stripped down and be made into something new by the words herein.

A window into a stormy, beautiful world.

The performance was incredible! The stories are raw and feel so pure and brutally beautiful. This is really good, and a glimpse of a world so distant to men like me. I loved this, and finished it in one sleepless night!

The writer and narrator dropped me into the lives of the speakers within each poem. It was a heart wrenching, fulfilling, chaotic, and soothing ride all at once. Thank you for writing your heart so passionately.

Raw

This collection is raw and so much of it is relatable. It took bravery and strength for Geneva to share these words and I am so grateful. The narrator gave Geneva's words even more power. A wonderful combination. Can't wait for next book!

Emotional

Geneva’s story is emotional from start to finish. There’s love, heartbreak, celebration, and struggles in the entire book. The way she brings to life entire cities I’ve never been to but can see perfectly through her eyes is impressive. She’s even changed my mind about visiting a city I’ve never wanted to go to before. Words are powerful and Geneva conveys just how powerful they are.
