Awesome book on worship!!!

I purchased this book to prepare for the G3 conference in Atlanta 2020 which is on worship. I was listening to the G3 podcast and Phil Johnson had mentioned this book so I downloaded it immediately and really enjoyed it. I love the Simple Way, John MacArthur writes and how he sticks to the scripture for all truth.

A hearty meal for those fearing to be healthy Christians!

Having been a worship leader for over 12 years, I found this to be refreshing. It is truthful. It is Biblical. I highly recommend it for everyone that would consider themselves a Christian. The content is of such, that every Believer needs to hear.

Amazingly eye opening!!!

Have a contrite heart. Do not let pride get the best of what God deserves of your being. Everything about this book was revolutionary to reviving the created beings that are saved by the grace of God. Not only for revival but for practical assurance of an amazing life dedicated to Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Father. I recommend this book to everyone who truly seeks God.

Thorough

John MacArthur explains things clearly with Scriptural backup for what he says. I will listen to this again and highly recommend it to anyone with questions about the current issues with “contemporary worship” which really isn’t.

Very thorough

Excellent in its delivery and did not come off prudish or confrontational. As a Dad of a touring Christian artist with songs on the radio, I found it refreshingly honest. I hope to have my singer-songwriter son read this. Well done.

Like but...

Normally I love Johns writings but here he offered complaints without offering solutions. The Church needs our help in guiding it to what God wants Biblically, not just complaining about what it's doing wrong. My hope is that he would offer an addendum to encourage worship leaders across the country on how to properly construct and deliver a worship song that truly leads others into a properly worshipping Him in Spirit and Truth!
