I wasn't really sure what to expect out of this story going into it, but I was ultimately glad that I gave it a chance. It's great to see that unique stories can still be written, and not just copies of copies of copies of other Isekais and LitRPGs, a trend that this book satirizes quite well.

At any rate, this book has a great, unconventional story with well written characters. The narrator, too, was perfect and did an amazing job.

My only real gripe, and it's a pretty big flaw in an audio book, is that the audio quality is absolutely terrible. It sounds like the narrator recorded this book in their bathroom with a metal trashcan over their head the whole time. I found it more or less unlistenable with headphones. Weirdly, listening to it through the limited speakers of my tablet actually worked to mitigate the tinny, echoey, audio. However, despite this flaw, I still really recommend giving the book a chance.

Great Story, Very Unique, Terrible Audio
