Very good, quick revision

This is an excellent overview for anyone who wants a summary of key events into which they can slot all the details they might have learned previously.

It strikes a good balance between creating a coherent narrative but still including surprisingly comprehensive information for such a short recording.

It's also a very fair price.

More of these "history in an hour" productions would be very welcome!

Good summary

pretty good quick review, but some questionable assertions, like that second atomic bomb at Nagasaki was necessary for Japanese to surrender.

A Great Review

This was a good review of the Second World War. I think it would be useful for high school students or college students to get a little background knowledge of the war.

A good overview...

...that divides WWII up into different topics and events and gives a brief summary. It's not possible to cover even a fraction of the war in 85 minutes, but this title is an excellent starting point for anyone who wants to learn more.

potted history in an easy to swallow format

Great concentrated history in a well read format, easy to understand without all the overly complex political machinations, should be taught in schools today to serve as a reminder of what happened.

This book is brilliant

Of all the years I went to school I never learned so much in 60 minutes. It was that good I listened to it twice in a row.
