Felt like only part of a book

Where does World Keeper: The Dawn of an Era rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Good but not among the best. If you enjoyed the first World Keeper book you will enjoy every minute of this book, its only problem being that it feels short though this may be due to being spoiled by the first book.

Any additional comments?

It felt like there were no major conflict or really anything that moved the story forward much it felt like the first half of a full book. This is not necessarily a bad thing as I did still enjoy the build up however the next book must see the world making significant progress. No races meet up at all during this book a large portion is just the aftermath of the last few chapters of the first book. I look forward to seeing what happens in the third book and hope to see some of these races meeting and interacting.

Goddess Harem

The story as always is solid and thought out. I prefer hearing about the residents below than what Dale is up to but the demigod bit was very juicy. Onto the next one!

once again an excellent book an amazing series

as always an amazing book to an amazing series the only problem would be that this should be a full cast audio book with multiple narrators to bring it to even more Soaring Heights of literary gravitas

Narrator's Voice REALLY bugs me

Story is fun, could do without the harem. There is just something about the Narrator's Voice that doesn't fit. Sorry man, I just don't think you fit into the role.

Very cool

I'm a fan of Justin Miller and the narrator is a new one for me but I like him too. This story has some similar notes to his World Seed novel series and I'm interested to see if there'll be a tie in. On its own this series is really cool and there wouldn't have to be any tie in for it to still be as cool as it is but it's set up in a way that it be convenient.

Let down by Audible

Would you consider the audio edition of World Keeper: The Dawn of an Era to be better than the print version?

Audible let me down, by not making it clear this is a 2 book purchase, a 11 hr. 1st book and a 2 hr. short story, so the book ended early for me, which I found very disappointing. I am a big believer in knowing what I am purchasing ahead of time. this is the first time I am scolding audible, and hope they will never do this to me again, a 13 hr. book needs to be a 13 hr. book not a book with a short story attached.

What was one of the most memorable moments of World Keeper: The Dawn of an Era?

The addition of a daughter to the world keeper, and the demon world addition, which ended the book early for me.

What does Stephen Bel Davies bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

he is a great narrator and brings his characters to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

no over many days.

Any additional comments?

I grew up in the days of truth in advertising, not partial truth, but the whole truth. is the book a 13 hour book or 11 hour book, I might have chosen a different book, because I buy books based on how many days of enjoyment I can get out of them. I do not like the plot changing 11 hours into the book. I am not a fan of short stories, they go by to quickly, and never develop the plot. they just fill in space.

An engaging time with our favorite keeper

This story picks up where the last one ended. this continuation feels natural as if it's part two of the same wonderful book.

short story is better than the main story

I thought after sitting through the first book, maybe second book would have some substance

Meh

It was pretty boring to be honest. OP character can be great fun. but that requires measurement characters. And throwing in a few "How, how is this even possible.", remarks. This aspectwas almost entirely missing in the second book in the series and it was poorer for its loss. It seemed more like the novelization of someone else playing Civilization V.
