Great book, mediocre performance
I was introduced to Amy's story through the Something Was Wrong podcast. I was drawn in to her storytelling and her passion for sharing her mother's story. After hearing the author share her story in her own voice, I regret listening to this book as an audiobook instead of actually reading it myself. The performance is lacking. The reader often ends sentences as if they are a question or as if the thought itself is incomplete. I am planning on finishing the audiobook, but may purchase a hard copy. I just don't think the reader was able to make the same impact that Amy herself makes when telling her story.
Regarding the story itself- Amy eloquently shares her love for her mother, her grief, and her growth. I would highly recommend this book!

So gripping, heartwrenching, and an incredible love story to Amy’s mom
I couldn’t turn it off! Every sentence and chapter revealed more insight into a daughters fight for justice and an incredible story of love for her mother. So well done!
