Repetitive and feels like an almost random word generator. Ivy far my worst audible experience.

This audiobook is great

I loaned this audiobook out to a friend, as they were interested in getting into woodworking. Needless to say, I never got the audiobook back and really wanted to keep this in my arsenal.

Was this translated from another language ???

Good info for beginning wood workers. If you are anywhere past beginning there is not much useful info. I have not finished the book and don't think I will be able to. I sounds like this book was written in a different language and translated with out any review for mistakes. words are constantly mispronounced or pronounced different ways in the same paragraph. Router then the next time pronounced rooter. Planer then later pronounced planner, then back to planer. other words are replaced with ones the make no sense in English, good info but painful to listen to.. I don't know how this was released in this condition.

Very nice product

I wanted a audiobook I could use as a primer and then a resource. Woodworking Basics is one of four, which I bought for my home hobby library. It's perfect for the first time woodworker.

this is good

I've given this book 5 stars since it was an enjoyable and educational read. I cannot and I am not incorporating the exercises, effectiveness at teaching techniques, etc into my review since I haven't attempted those (yet.)

extraordinary audiobook

While I haven't started any wood work (I bought the audiobook because I was interested in it), I have found that reading the audiobook has given me more insight into how furniture is built

This audiobook speaks very clearly and loudly to the beginner. The content is text book grade and teaches you so much! It is organized very well, it is illustrated very well and just a pleasure to read.

Very nice product

The only disappointment with this audiobook is personal; rather than solely focusing on hand tools the author recommends a blended approach that can be difficult for those of us without access to a dedicated or shared shop. In my urban townhouse there simply isn't room for some of the larger equipment

awesome audiobook

I'm taking up woodworking later in life; while I've listen a number of other audiobooks that contained excellent information, this one did a much better job than the rest at giving real fundamental information on the topic

This was well written

A great starter audiobook for anyone looking to get into woodworking. It is a very rewarding craft and can even lead to some money if you are willing to put the time in.

A lot of information audiobook..

Those interested in wood joinery won't find a better book than this one. Pictures and illustrations are very clear and concise, without all the preaching and lecturing practiced by most English authors, who come across as if they consider themselves to be only people who know anything about wood joinery and wood working.

Is it in English?

Disjointed sentences, words out of place, Lines of text repeated. Overlapping sentences. Poor grammar. Poor choice of descriptive words. It should not have been released like this. Impossible to follow. The narrator has great intonation but it is like listening to Google translate. Got 4 chapters in and returned.
