Publisher's Summary

In February 2018, the Good Weekend cover story by David Leser 'Women, Men and the Whole Damn Thing', became one of the most talked-about and widely praised articles of the year. With an unprecedented response from readers both in Australia and around the world urging him to expand his story – this is the water-cooler book of the #MeToo era.

David Leser explores his own psyche and role in the patriarchy and how history has brought us to the #Metoo movement and its eruptions of female anger worldwide. Where did we go wrong? How do we navigate relationships now? And where to from here?

Powerful Narrative - Hard Hitting Facts

This book affected me deeply. Thank you David Leser for having the courage and skill to write it. Hearing so many detailed stories of rape and sexual assault was heartbreaking. At the same time I learned so much from David's research and perspectives.

An eye opening book into the #MeToo movement.

This book was lightening, eye opening and terrifying. Leser tries to unravel sex, power, masculinity and violence as we see it today and hope we can change it for the better. definitely worth a read.

An amazingly informative narrative

I loved David Leser's narration and the messages he delivered. I have only just begun to explore this topic and I found david very easy to listen to and absorb.
Thanks for taking the time to read this David - I doubt anyone else could have delivered it in the same way.

#MeToo, the women's movement and a new men's one.

Every single male should read this book both to understand the issue and the action required to start a new men's movement towards gender parity
