Not a suspense novel! Narration was excellent

Heavy on the romance (smut lol) and very little suspense. I tried to like it. I really did but just felt myself rolling my eyes more than usual. If you like the kinky details you’ll probably love it but I would have rather had more character development and maybe a little more intrigue and suspense. Every time I felt like it was getting meaty it was over in a flash. Perhaps the blame lies with the Audible description not being clear that it’s more romance and um, erotic than suspense but it just wasn’t what I exoected.

What an Ending!

Wow! The connections between characters kept me wanting more. Shocking right to the end. Did not disappoint.

Not what I usually line about Colleen Hoover.

The storyline of this book was not for me. The set up was predictable and Petra was far to gullible.

Disappointed but will still read her books

I want to give Colleen some grace. She has things going on in her life that we aren't aware of. That shows in this book. I have loved everything she has written except for Layla and now this book. I would say, those are pretty good odds. The book is slow but I stuck with it. I had a bunch about the way it would end. It's not horrible but it's not a great book.

Wow!

I couldn't put the book down! I read the book in a day and a half. I am new to Colleen Hoovers writing and loved it. Oh and a 2nd book about Saint would be awesome! Team Saint!
