Publisher's Summary

Total surrender doesn't come easy to a natural-born alpha. Shape-shifting special operative Brad Durant has been held against his will by the enemy for nearly a year. He's given up hope and is fast giving up his will to survive - that is, until a hot-tempered, redheaded succubus is placed in the cell next to his. She calls to his wolf on a primitive level and he won't let anyone or anything harm her. Giving his body to the little minx is easy, but guarding his heart is much harder.

Wolf's surrender

What did you like best about this story?

Wolf's Surrender is book 1 in Mandy Roth's PSI-OPS spin off, Shadow Agents. Brad Durant had a hard times growing up as an orphaned wolf shifter hiding his true nature from the world. The only bright spot in his life is his close friend and fellow orphan shifter Vincent. They have grown up together, served their country together and are now pursuing higher education together

Beware

The story was ok but the narrator was awful! He voice drones on and on so that it out me to sleep. His accents were terrible. In the future I will not purchase any books that he is reading.

Excellent Listen!

This is one enjoyable shifter romance. This book is part of a series and a standalone listen, plus it's a spinoff of other books. I had no problem following the story and this is my first by this author. I thought the characters were very interesting. Brad is a wolf shifter and Alice is a succubus. Both were kidnapped and held for breeding purposes. Yes the premise of this book is not realistic, but its still very enjoyable. The imagery was incredible. Anger, lust, obsession, revenge are just a few of the emotions that go on in this book. Besides some despicable characters, there are some very intriguing ones like the Pirate. DC Cole did an outstanding performance with this book. I loved how he was able to give each character their own distinguishable voice.

Wolf's Surrender

Being held in captivity for almost a year can really wear on a person. But when they bring in the redhead Brad knows he must protect her. But whats real and whats part of the drugs they have been pumped with. The story is fun and full of adventure. D.C. Cole does a fantastic job with the narration and is so easy to listen to.

Wolf Shifter/Succubus

This book made me think I had come into this story in the middle of something. I think I should go back and read the book before this as there must be one. Except for the fact that I thought the characters had known the other characters from other books, I enjoyed the book. D.C. Cole does an excellent job narrating this book and distinguishing the voices of all the different characters. It's well worth a credit just to listen to him!

Great Narration!

The narration in this book was the best thing about it. D. C. Cole is amazing at doing so many different voices, it is difficult to believe you are listening to just one narrator. As far as the story, it was just okay for me. I haven’t read or listened to the PSI/Ops series books so maybe I needed some background to really get into the story, I don’t know. There were some interesting moments however I just found most of the story to be just okay. This book was given to me for free and I provided this unbiased review.

Another awesome book in the I-Ops world!<br />

Loved the audio, loved the book. I have read this book in addition to listening to the audio. Loved both, but I would find reasons to drive around so I could listen during the day.
Brad has been help captive for about a year when a fiesty red head is moved into the cell next to him. Alice is a succubus and was at a frat party when she was abducted. Tested on and given all kinds of drugs Brad doesn't trust his wolf around her... and why in the world is he drawn to her? This book had everything I expect in an I-Ops world book. Alpha males, kick ass women, comedy and of course heat.

Howling good story

This is book 1 in the spin off series and is a stand alone book with a wonderful HEA. I recommend this book to all shifter lovers. D.C. does a wonderful job of making the book come to life and taking you on an emotional roller coaster. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Happy listening.

Good storline

These stories are getting better. With a bit more intesity. Not keen on the person who read the story. I prefered Mason Cole especially is imitation of how Corburn would sound. Even though it's probably more realistic as, it was announced he was from the southern part of England. whereby I'm from the North and don't sound southern or posh. More lazy.

Now for the next series. 😁
