Publisher's summary

The adventure continues - Brenner is not a werewolf....

He is the result of a secret US Army experiment. The creation of a government controlled Super Soldier.

And no one asked if he wanted to take part.

So, he escaped. And for the last 50 years has been living in the back roads and the small unknown towns of America. Never aging. Searching for a cure. At the same time, avoiding the dark ops experts who are looking for him.

But just because he can become a seven-foot, 400-pound killing machine, it doesn’t mean that Brenner is bad. In fact, he sticks to a strict code.

And like the High Plains drifters of old, anyone who crosses the Wolfman’s code is sure to suffer.

They took his humanity...and now it’s time for payback.

Author’s note...

“I was looking to create a character that brought to mind the high plains drifters of old. A Western hero that rode into town on a dark horse, delivered justice and retribution in equal measure, and then rode off into the sunset. A modern-day gunslinger with a dark secret. I hope that I did the premise justice.”

Project Bloodborn is a shapeshifter, werewolf series. It should be popular for all those searching for urban fantasy, vampires, ghosts, magic, and psychics.

Exciting action thriller with a heart and soul.

Book 2 is more exciting and action filled than the first. For government experiment that worked, or did it creating the alternet weapon. Former or current soldier becomes vengance upon a town that the leaders are making drugs with the enslavement of innocent people.

Brenner to the rescuse

The stories are predicated on an injustice on someone(s) and Brenner resolving the problem with force. This story picks up where book 1 ends. It is close to the first night of the full moon and Griffin calls Brenner for help. Brenner walks into town and decides to get a haircut and maybe pick up some town gossip. He ends up in jail for the first night of the full moon.

While Brenner is in jail, Griffin is being tortured for information by the pastor of The Fellowship of The Rightful Labor. Griffin has uncovered something but does not know the importance of what he found. He was just doing a random computer search when all hell broke loose. What Brenner and Griffin discover is the pastor’s warped sense of holy justice is an excuse for the murder of innocent people.

Brenner is in denial that he is a werewolf. He is quick to point out that his situation was caused by a government experiment and he is seeking a cure. This time it is an Indian chief that points out the truth he refuses to see. This ability is a gift and should be viewed as such. It is the same truth told by the watchers, Mr. Reeves and Mr. Bolin

You may have been experimented on, but you are a wolf if you:
• change the first night the full moon
• can change at will into wolf or wolfman
• have heighten senses when human

Brenner and Griffin are vigilantes killing and liberating people as they look for the man at the top of the organization. Griffin is 50 years older than Brenner. But he is determined to have his vengeance. Therefore, he goes with Brenner to Mexico looking for the man at the top.

In Mexico, with drugs, coyotaje and other criminal activity, our guys find another cause for retribution. Brenner’s kills as a wolf are vicious and unforgiving. He does not leave any enemy alive. He always liberates the oppressed and gives them the assets of the tyrant.

I find it aggravating when a hero incapacitates people instead of killing them when he had the chance. More times than not, those same people come back to attempt to kill them later in the book. Not with Brenner. If you are squeamish this book is not for you.

Could Have Been Great

Listening to this book made me remember why I said I wasn't going to listen to anymore after the first one. The narrator does the best he can with an average written story. The whole story feels rushed like the author had to stay under a certain word count.
