Publisher's Summary

The Federal Paranormal Unit is an elite squad of supernaturals dedicated to solving missing persons cases. Erica's gift allows her a special connection with the crime, but it comes at a deep personal cost. Until now, she's kept her gift a secret, even from the other members of the team. But this case will throw her together with Agent Trent Buchanan. He's the object of her secret desires, but he's also a cocky womanizer. She'd rather swim in shark-infested waters with a paper cut than admit she has feelings for him.

A man with one desire.

Wolf Shifter Trent wants Erica more than he's ever wanted any woman. He's spent years patiently waiting for her to admit that she wants him too. Working one-on-one in a race to find a serial killer, Trent's patience and Erica's resolve wear thin. When Trent discovers the truth about Erica, will he accept her for who she is? And can he protect her from the horrors that her gift brings?

A case that pushes them to the edge.

Erica will have to risk it all if she wants to stop the killer, and when she does, Trent may have to put his own life on the line to make sure his mate is protected.

The voice is horrible

I cannot fairly rate the story as I couldn't even get past the voice reading it. Suggestion, find someone else to read the story re-record it and give it another shot.

Don't care for the narrator

Couldn't finish the story because how the narrator voiced the characters. Also the cadence in which the narrator spoke drove me crazy.

Great Book!

Any additional comments?

This is a great book; this is the first book in the Federal Paranormal Unit Series by Milly Taiden and narrated by Lauren Sweet. Trent is a wolf shifter who works for a Federal Paranormal Unit, who is a hot alpha male. Ericka also works for the Federal Paranormal Unit because she has a special gift/power, if she touches something of the victim she can sense what happened. However, Ericka keeps her gift a secret because she has trust issues. Trent has been attracted to Ericka from the beginning and has recognized that she is his mate, but he has tried to keep his feelings hidden. This book is full of action, suspense, and hot sexy alpha males. If you love hot paranormal books, then you have to read this book and other books that Milly Taiden has written. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

The narrator Lauren Sweet did a wonderful job, and was very easy to listen too. She did a great job with the different characters and their voices.

If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author. Once I started listening to this book, I didn’t want to stop until the end.

predictable not sure why I finished it

not sure why it took so long for them to figure out the killer as it was pretty obvious to me. also one of the very few books I've ever read where a wolf has found his mate but continues to date and sleep with other women until he thinks she's interested in him. really? how's that supposed tho happen if he's sleeping with other women continually right in front of her?

Awful Narrator

This narrator’s voice is like nails on a chalkboard. She immediately gave me a headache! I couldn’t finish it. To be fair I’m not sure if the story was any good or not so if you can get past the high pitched, loud, nasally sound in your ear have at it.

Good

This audiobook was easy to listen to but very predictable storyline. I knew the the ending half way through. Favourite moment was the first I love you. I may have cried at that point (read and understand)
