Publisher's summary

Timberlyn is determined to get answers when she returns for her sophomore year at Ravenwood Academy for the Exceptionally Gifted.

After a brutal attack at the end of her freshman year leaves her questioning her very nature, she sets out to find the truth about Ravenwood and the students who walk the academy’s halls. One thing’s for sure - nothing at Ravenwood is as it seems.

When she arrives on the campus, she learns that she has a new roommate who’s supposedly just like her and a new class that promises answers to her questions. And then, there’s the more personal question of whether or not she can trust Alarick Wolf.

She gets the answer to that question soon enough, but no one else seems eager to share their secrets. That’s never stopped her before, and it’s not stopping her now.

Timberlyn knows there is more to the story than she’s getting. Delilah haunts her dreams, and even though her friends tell her to leave well enough alone, that’s not Timberlyn’s style. Nothing can stop her from finding the truth - about Delilah, about the school, and about herself.

Nothing can stop her, that is, except the truth itself.

A love story and a paranormal mystery

Year One was a big mystery with a hint of romance. Year Two is a a love story with a bit of mystery. Timberlyn and Alerick spend quite a bit of time exploring what is between them. There are a lot of relationship shifts in this book. And other shifts too. The huge cliff hanger at the end of Year One - oh yeah, that gets addressed to and only leads to more questions.

The second half of this book delves into those questions and just when you think you are figuring out what is is going on throws you for another loop. The danger and intensity really ramps up by the end. I thought I knew what was coming and did get some of it right, but there were a few things I did not see coming at all.

Whenever the characters ages are mentioned it is jarring to me. Timberlyn is supposed to be 15 in this book. They behave more like college aged students than high school students.

This is book 2 in the Ravenwood Academy series and does end with a cliffhanger. This is a series that needs to be read in order as the books build on each other. Fast, exciting reads.

Overall, I thought the narration was well done. Lost of emotion, clear dictation. There were a few spots where the volume was uneven. The Vanessa Moyen has a tendency to whisper, especially male voices, and sometimes her voice droped so low that I was unable to make out what she was saying. Most of the time she was clear and easy to understand. This is an honest and voluntary review of an ARC

Wolf Cursed - A++++

Contains slight spoiler.

Loved loved loved this book!! I can’t believe the turn of events. Insane!! That’s the only way to describe it. I need book 3 right now! I’m so nervous to see what Alaric is going to say if what happens in the end of this book comes to fruition and also to see what’s going to happen. Is she going to become a trifecta of human (Fae?)/wolf/vampire? Ahh!! I need to know.

Ravenwood Academy!

Wolf Cursed (Ravenwood Academy: Year Two) is just as riveting as book one. Oddles of suspense and romance swirling through the pages. Well detailed world building descriptions and settings. The writing style is vivid and intriguing. Absolutely loved it. Looking forward to listening to the next audio in this series when available.

Narrator Vanessa Moyen is the perfect choice to narrate this series. In my opinion her inflection fits the characters perfectly Her tone is age appropriate and distinctive between characters. I loved her performance and cant wait for more.

Action Packed

This book year 2 leaves the reader wanting more right out of the starting gatas it picks up right where the last book left off. The characters were very well written, some strong personalities emerge this year. Great story and very detailed that inclufe several twists and turns and an exciting mysterious cliff hanger ending. I loved the narrator, she was really good with the different voices male or female. I'm very much looking forward to reading/listening to the next book in the series Year 3 at Raven wood Academy... 👍🙏💗💯

are you true to who you are?

What a great read / listen. Narration was great and I have to say that I really enjoyed this story line a bit better than book / year 1. I will say that while this could possibly be a stand alone I highly recommend reading book 1 to get the necessary background needed to fall in love and get the most from this book. Timberlyne is back at Ravenwood after being home with her parents for the summer and she can't wait to get some much needed answers. Will these answers be what Timberlyne needs to find herself or will it be her undoing? The book ends with yet another cliffhanger so I am on pins and needles awaiting the next in this series. Love the characters that Hill gives us in this read - strong and courageous and trying to stay true to who you really are. GREAT READ!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Great Read

Wolf Cursed: Ravenwood Academy: Year Two was another great read by Lena Mae Hill. Timberlyn is returning to Ravenwood Academy for her sophomore year. She's determined to get answers about the school and students. She has a new roommate who is supposedly just like her. She is still questioning if she can trust Alarich Wolf. Timberlyn continues to question everything because she doesn't get the answers she believes. This was a great read and I can't wait to read more in this series.

Whooo- Hooo!!! Great Second Installment

I thought book one was amazing, but book two is nothing short of fantabulous. I so didn’t see that ending coming coming. I have no idea where book 3 will lead Timberland, but I can’t wait to be taken on her journey.

Wow

What is going to happen to Timberland? I can’t wait to find out.

Timberland is trying to figure out who and what she is. She knows she can shift into a wolf but still smells like a human. So what’s going on? She is trying to help and save so many people.

Can she keep her friends from killing each other? Can they even stay friends? Do any of them really know what’s going on? So many questions..... can’t wait to get to the next book.
