Mafia love

I was a little surprised by this one as it did not feel like the Nicole Edwards Novels i am used to reading. This was more of a quick Steamy read. I would have liked a little more character development but all in all, it was still a good read.

Short but sweet and exciting

Quick listen, good story. Though hard to get invested in characters. Narration was good. Looking forward to book two.

Short Mafia Story!

This was my first Nicole Edwards's book. This short mafia story is fast-paced, suspenseful, funny and entertaining, filled with hot scenes. I love Isaiah and Cassidy. Their chemistry is strong. Isaiah is a very alpha protective man. The narration was really great! I love those two narrators. Their narration is always well done and easy to listen. I enjoyed my listening. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Devil's Playground

It is a short, steamy, and sexy read. Isaiah and Cassidy come together quickly and set each other worlds on fire, a whirlwind romance had me wanting more . It is so hard to pause and wanting to keep on listening.

Great Listen

Cassidy is hiding from the men who are to hurt her because of her brother. Isaiah has been sent to protect her and they start a relationship. Can they save her brother and their relationship. Super sexy

A very hot fast paced mafia type novella. Great duel narration by Thom & Ongel. This is a connected series with Sniper 1 Security & Southern Boy Mafia.

Very fast pace book but still very amazing , loved the book and the narrators.

Great Novella

Great quick novella. The chemistry between Isiah and Cassidy was hot! There was quite a bit of action, and it almost didn’t seem to be such a short story. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel did a good job narrating.

Non stop action in and out of the bedroom

The narrators did a great job on this hot and sexy novella! If you like a short but hot and sweet story that includes insta everything because of it's length, you'll love this. The story was decent although short. Once Isaiah & Cassidy's lives clash because he is asked to protect her by his boss, that sets off their destiny. I love how truly protective he feels for her so soon after meeting her like fate had a plan for them for sure. This quickie packs a seriously sexy steamy punch!!

Vegas Baby!

What happens in Vegas...not always what you expect! Cassidy is trying to hide from the men looking for her brother, and thinks she is doing a good job of it. When she is found by Isaiah with little difficulty, she knows she is in trouble, but he maintains he is there to protect her. But is she safe with a man that works for the mafia? The have instant passion and as he is keeping her safe, he is also keeping her warm in his bed. I loved this story, it was short, yet full of suspense, alpha male protectiveness and hot scenes. There is a way to incorporate character development as well as an intricate plot in a short story, and Nicole Edwards nails it in this one. I enjoyed the banter, the protectiveness, and the brotherhood of the men that work with Isaiah. A good quick listen.

These characters need to be brought to life with a stern yet compassionate alpha male and Tor Thom is the perfect choice for this. He gives each character their own style, easy to discern and you can tell who is in charge. Charley Ongel as Cassidy gives her strength and vulnerability, and a little sass to make her character very real and believable. A great listen!
