Joy Lansing is starting over

In book three in the Premonition Point series, we learn Joy’s story.

After a 30-year marriage goes down the tubes, Joy decides to reach for the stars.

New to the single scene, she ends up meeting and hooking up with Troy, an up-and-coming photographer, at her friend Gigi’s party, Joy soon finds herself modeling for him for a mature woman’s perfume ad. Her ad goes viral and gets her noticed by Hollywood. Joy soon finds herself cast in a movie with a primadonna starlet and a star that’s been around the business for years. Leaning on her coven for support, Joy learns to navigate her new world. In addition to starting a film career at age 48, Joy also is adjusting to her three children as grown adults and the changes that go along with it.

On the movie set, Joy becomes entangled in a costar’s family drama and finds herself in more than a little hot water thanks to her new seer ability. Dealing with the paparazzi, spoiled starlets, a new boyfriend (or is he?), and being there for her family and her coven, sometimes is more than Joy can handle.

Another great read by Deanna Chase. Looking forward to learning more about Gigi in the next installment.

If you want a story about a strong and wonderful women and mother, this one is for you.

This maybe my new favorite book of the series. Joy’s constant never wavering love for her children, her spirit, and her courage for starting a new life and adventure are just a few of the reason I loved this book. It is also full of romance, drama, drugs, and kidnapping, I mean what’s not to love about this book.
I love the sisterhood of their coven, seeing so many strong women being there for each other, supporting each other, and willing to fight to protect each other is so wonderful. Also the fact that all these women are of a certain age is just fantastic. I get very tired of reading about 18-25 year olds, older women deserve love and adventure too and it’s just awesome seeing them being represented.

Couldn't to stop listening!

Another smash hit! I loved getting to know Joy and her family. The wonderful different relationships weaved throughout the book were a joy "read". Plus all of the little twists really kept me sucked into the story. The Gigi teaser at the end? Boy has that left me excitedly awaiting Witching for Clarity’s release.

Another Page Turner from Chase!

The long-anticipated story of Joy is finally here! She started having marital troubles in book 1 with some hilarious situations, so it was really satisfying to finally get her story. I had really been hoping for more humor, though, since Joy had some pretty funny situations in previous books. But the story was well done, mysterious, and thrilling. It was such a page turner that I stayed up late and finished it within hours. I just had to know what would happen to Joy and her friend’s niece, Harlow. Some parts were predictable, but there were plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing till the end. And it’s so gratifying when she finds her true love that she’s always deserved. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next and supposedly final book for Premonition Pointe.

Absolutely love this story.... spoiler alert ... Joy ... arrested ... tried, tested ... drugged ... kidnapped ... love all of Deanna Chase’s stories ... this one is fabulous and can hardly wait for The next installment!

good read

this was a fun book. with everyone trying to be so politically correct. putting in gay creators that don't really add value to the book. I felt like the son being gay was tossed in there.

This is such a great book!

This is such a great book to read and even better to listen to. Gabra Zackman does an awesome job narrating this.
The series is so much fun and so interesting and this book was no exception. There was lots of intrigue and lots of romance! I absolutely loved Joy and Troy together! The interaction with Joy's kids was too cool!! There's nothing like the relationship a parent has with their adult children. That's one of the things I love about this series.. it's about midlife.. and how things get even better!!

Absolutely love Premonition Pointe!

Book 3 in the Premonition Pointe series is an excellent addition to an already fabulous series. This book follows Boy's exploits following her divorce and new acting career. Deanna Chase writes a brilliant story. You actually feel the brutality that being in the public eye can bring. You gotta love the strong women she creates. Gabra Zackman is an exceptional narrator, she has the ability, just through her voice, to make you know which character is speaking or thinking at any moment. An overall enjoyable read, or listen!

I love this book!

This is Joy's story, and she is a strong woman, not afraid to make her life the one she wants to live. I was immersed in the story right from the start. I could feel what Joy was feeling. Her love for her kids, her joy and frustrations at work, and her hope and excitement at possibly finding a new love. Gabra Zackman did another fabulous job with the narrative. Can't wait for Clarity's book!

Wonderful story

I loved this story. Each installment of this series has been good, but I really loved the mystery woven in this story. And I love to have someone to hate. This book has it all.
