Joy Lansing is starting over

In book three in the Premonition Point series, we learn Joy’s story.

After a 30-year marriage goes down the tubes, Joy decides to reach for the stars.

New to the single scene, she ends up meeting and hooking up with Troy, an up-and-coming photographer, at her friend Gigi’s party, Joy soon finds herself modeling for him for a mature woman’s perfume ad. Her ad goes viral and gets her noticed by Hollywood. Joy soon finds herself cast in a movie with a primadonna starlet and a star that’s been around the business for years. Leaning on her coven for support, Joy learns to navigate her new world. In addition to starting a film career at age 48, Joy also is adjusting to her three children as grown adults and the changes that go along with it.

On the movie set, Joy becomes entangled in a costar’s family drama and finds herself in more than a little hot water thanks to her new seer ability. Dealing with the paparazzi, spoiled starlets, a new boyfriend (or is he?), and being there for her family and her coven, sometimes is more than Joy can handle.

Another great read by Deanna Chase. Looking forward to learning more about Gigi in the next installment.

If you want a story about a strong and wonderful women and mother, this one is for you.

This maybe my new favorite book of the series. Joy’s constant never wavering love for her children, her spirit, and her courage for starting a new life and adventure are just a few of the reason I loved this book. It is also full of romance, drama, drugs, and kidnapping, I mean what’s not to love about this book.
I love the sisterhood of their coven, seeing so many strong women being there for each other, supporting each other, and willing to fight to protect each other is so wonderful. Also the fact that all these women are of a certain age is just fantastic. I get very tired of reading about 18-25 year olds, older women deserve love and adventure too and it’s just awesome seeing them being represented.

Couldn't to stop listening!

Another smash hit! I loved getting to know Joy and her family. The wonderful different relationships weaved throughout the book were a joy "read". Plus all of the little twists really kept me sucked into the story. The Gigi teaser at the end? Boy has that left me excitedly awaiting Witching for Clarity’s release.

Wonderful story

I loved this story. Each installment of this series has been good, but I really loved the mystery woven in this story. And I love to have someone to hate. This book has it all.

if it could happen, it will happen to Joy.

Starting a whole new life in your 40s is not an easy thing! And if it could happen, it will happen to Joy. You pull for her the entire story! Poor thing, just wants to keep her kids safe, and it seems like the whole world is against her. Did I mention the new found magical power of visions of a kidnapped girl!?!?! And her costar Prissy is out for blood, while Joy has no idea why. I just couldn't stop reading! I had to know what happened next. Now you get introduced to her hot and steamy love interest Troy, who by the way, her costar seems to be after. You just want things to start working out for Joy, and I knew I couldn't give up on her till I found out how she balanced her crazy life.
