This is a different cozy mystery series and I highly recommend reading it and can't wait to listen to the next book in the series.

Amazing!!

Enjoyable listen. The story kept me interested, and I enjoyed the story line as well as the characters. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Great stuff

There is a lot of standard stuff here, not the same old tropes. Good magic, interesting magic society that's a fresh take from the same old stuff, neat settings in the desert drive between AZ and LA.

Clear details!!!

The ending was a good twist and gives a clear goal for the next book to rescue Kitzu. Salt is growing into his powers more and more. I can see him doing far more with his powers.

Interesting

I enjoyed this audio book quite a bit. Interesting magic and settings, a lot more blue collar magic than many, which I enjoyed.
