Publisher's summary

The long-awaited sequel to my 1993 best-selling paperback novel Witches is finally here!

Yes, witches exist...the good and the bad ones...and one day, the two ancient adversaries of good and evil will join the fight for control of the world.

Amanda has been told her 10-year-old witch child, Lizzy, is fated to someday become one of the planet’s most powerful witches. If she lives. If the world survives. Because the world is being threatened by an Antichrist called Reuben who is prophesied to bring the end of the world by destroying everyone and everything good - including the white witches and warlocks of the world - unless he can be stopped.

The Guardians, a secret society of those white Wiccans who protect others of their kind and the world from great evil, along with the powerful good witch Amanda Givens and her gifted daughter, Lizzy, must battle Reuben and his demonic followers. They must somehow change the outcome of the prophesied end times, aid a possible child of God, help the earth’s people to resist the black witches, demons, and the soulless that the times have brought forth and who are trying to bring hell to earth.

Good and evil will be brought together for the final battles. Will Amanda, Lizzy, and the Guardians defeat evil, or will it defeat them as they fight with all their strength and powers to save the people, the lives, and the world they love? Who will win?

Sequel to my 1993 mass-market paperback novel Witches.

Just as good as the first!

What a great follow up to Witches! I loved the first book so much so I couldn’t wait to see what Amanda was up to and learn about Lizzie. Witches 11 did not disappoint. I love the new characters and seeing where everyone else is 10 years later. I especially love Armadas in this book. He’s personality really came through. The story is very well written, the characters are well developed and real. I loved the ending and I am hopeful for book 3
The narrator was ok, she flowed in and out of characters very well.

Magically Wonderful!!

I did not read the first book but after listening to Book 2 I am intrugued enough to wnat to go back and read from the beginning. That being said I really enjoyed the story told in book 2. The characters were well developed and magic was placed nicely through out the story. The narrator was fantastic bringing the story and characters to life with perfect pacing. I look forward to more from this author & narrator.

Very Enjoyable

This was an easy listen, but don’t try to do it with others talking around you. You may find you will have to backup because you’ve missed something important. I’m going to continue with more of this series.

Great sequel to Witches

This sequel is quite different then the first book. Perhaps it is because it has been over two decades since book one was released. The writing style does seem to have changed a bit but I’m totally ok with that because the story picks up 10 years later and the characters have evolved and the slow world building was great for the first book but not necessary here.

Narration was well done and brought the story to life.

The book progresses at a good pace and there are some interesting twists and turns to keep you guessing what is coming next.

There is suspense, action, adventure, danger, demons, witches, magic, and the ever so helpful familiars. This book has some biblical inspired ideas weaved in a fictional way to enhance her end of the world Apocalyptic story.

The story sucked me in and kept me entertained from beginning to conclusion. You can probably follow along well even if you have not read the first book “Witches” but I would highly recommend because it is a very well written book.

WItches 2

I enjoyed this book.It started with a wonderfully named witch,Deidre, who dies almost immediately.lol That leads us into where our witches are now,10 years after the first book. There is a major change coming,Lizzy,Amanda's daughter will play a big part in this. I felt there was a different vibe to this. book compared to book 1.I also felt that narration was sometimes better than at others.Nila Brereton is a good narrator for the most part.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
