Such wise women

Of course they never knew they were wise women when they were young, and maybe they weren’t so wise then, but all the words of wisdom they share with us today. Julia, you’ve chosen well. You can’t just listen to either of these interviews just once, they have to be reheard so they can be remembered. Of all the podcasts I’ve heard, and I’ve heard many and enjoyed them for different reasons, these are my favorite. Don’t stop.

Great episode!

Even with the power outage this was a wonderful interview.
Please invite Marianne Williamson on. She is 69 and running for president again. She is a spiritual icon and political activist.
Thanks for this very enlightening podcast.

Fantastic!

What a wonderful podcast! Great idea and such fascinating interviews. When Julia and Jane Fonda were chatting and Jane said, “being young is hard….”! I jumped up and replayed that part to my daughter (she’s 21 and lately feeling down with nondescript emotions that come around at that age) because I’m always telling her the same thing! Being young is very hard and I’d say the majority of young people feel this. Not alone!

Can’t wait for more episodes!

Wiser women have great insight, funny stories, and good advice

Julia does great interviews with all sorts if women with all sorts or experience. I love the recaps with “Mummy”, because a girl loves to tell what she learns and experiences with her mum/mom.

Loved This!

I love Julia Louis-Dreyfus so I didn't hesitate to listen to this podcast. She's great at making each episode seem like a conversation instead of an interview. More than anything, it made me wish that everyone of a certain age would record something like this before it's too late. Regardless of whether you like someone, their experiences are important and so many people have died without leaving us with something like this to help us as we continue on. I'd kill to have something like this from my grandmother but she took so many secrets with her that we'll never know. Anyway, love the series and could listen all day!

Beautiful & Wise

Julie Louis-Dreyfus is fantastic as she interviews these amazing women. I have laughed, cried & been inspired by both JLD as well as her guests.
Proving on so many levels that women should not become invisible after 50. There are so many stories to tell.
I so hope there is a second season.
