Publisher's summary

My name is Matt Holcomb, and I'm the good guy. The boy next door. I'm the safe bet, and I always do the right thing. Then one night two years ago, I made a terrible mistake that caused irreparable damage, and the guilt is killing me. If I'm ever to make the leap and find love again, the woman would have to be perfect. She can't disrupt my carefully constructed control.

I met my best friend, Jenny Winter, as a teenager and have loved her ever since. She's gorgeous and talented. Her voice could make angels weep. Yet she chose someone else, and I swore I'd never fall for her again. Until something happens between us and passion ignites.

But she's not the right woman for me, and crossing the line with her would not only change everything, it'll take away the only good thing I have left.

A stand-alone novel with an HEA.

Loved it!

I loved this story! It was about love breaking down the walls we build around our hearts after dealing with a trauma. And about allowing love in even when your broken. It is a story with pure ecstasy and heart wrenching heart ache. The characters are completely relatable and you cant help but fall in love with them. The double narration really brings life to the story! I definately recommend this to all adults!

Love story

This was a great story to continue to see what happens to the other characters in the first story. Matt and Jenny finally find the love they have been keeping at bay for a decade.

Great Story of Love & Friendship

This is a great story of love & friendship. It's about Matt and Jenny and their journey to their HEA. It's sweet and has love, friendship, forgiveness and struggles. I, like another reviewer, did get a bit tired of Matt and Jenny denying their feelings towards the other. It seemed to drag on but the ending is beautiful and heartwarming. Where this story doesn't have as much drama in it as Summer's Road, it has plenty of angst. The narration by Julie Walters and Gene Branson is superbly done once again. They really do well as a narrating duet. Both helped to bring the story to life and help the listener to fall in love with all the characters. Overall, a beautiful love story about best friends finally coming to terms with their truths and I look forward to the next in this series.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Remarkable story

I received a free code to listen to this book and I did so willingly.

Winter's Path was a truly remarkable journey and yet again... love was the answer.

With many trips and turns, some right, some wrong it will always come down to love and devotion. I enjoyed the way it worked out.

Winter’s Path

A really nice book to listen to about beat friends finding their way through some tough situations and falling in love in the process. This book was another great addition to the series but can be read as a stand-alone as well.

Great Love

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. Great story, just got tired of Matt and Jenny fighting their attraction. Their love has spanned years, with a lot of changes and they still won't admit it to each other. The author kept the listener in suspense, but the HEA was worth the wait. The narrators did a good job with the characters and the story.

Don’t like the narrator

This narrator is not good at all. Can’t even get into the story. I don’t like the way he reads or talks.
