Winter Wonderland

Ever since Miranda Pardew haughtily rejected his shy request for a dance, Barnaby Traherne has been a resigned bachelor. Ten years later, her circumstances have changed and the still-smitten Barnaby has an opportunity to hire the now-impoverished Miranda as governess to his brother's children. Sweet Without Stupid

Both the hero and heroine are smart and act reasonably (especially for a romance)! The hero's family is an enjoyable character in it's own right. Predictable but that's something I can handle in a romance.

An enchanting story

Loved it. Characters seemed so real. A thoroughly enjoy oval novel. Will be looking for more stories by this author.

Beautifully written with wonderful well rounded characters. I simply loved this family and their adventures. I will read this one many times over.

Best of Elizabeth Mansfield yet.If you enjoy this author then this one is not to be missed. The narration was good enough.
