Enjoyable

It was very enjoyable however I wish there was more character growth, the story kinda just ended and it left me wanting more, I look forward to reading the other books

Could have been good but it's not

I struggled to finish this book. Kat does nothing but yell and blame other people and wine. I was done with her by like the second hour. Bas was the only saving grace for her. All of the characters in this book are flat truly 2D and its horrible. This book could have been good but now it's blah.

AMAZING STORY

LOVED IT... VERY WELL WROTE.. KEPT ME INTERESTED FROM THE VERY BEGINNING TO END! EVERY EMOTION WAS FELT... I LAUGHED AND CRIED AND EVEN GOT ANGRY... WELL WORTH READING

The FMC is extremely childish and annoying

I almost didn’t finish this book because the FMC whines, screams, and throws tantrums like a 13 years old girl. She is 18… or supposed to be. I understand that it’s hard when loosing ppl you love but holy crap on a stick! I wanna hit her with said stick!!! The only reason I stayed listening was for the ending (cause I hate leaving things unresolved) and for Bass. He doesn’t sound super drool worthy but sweet dark n mysterious is always good.
The narrator was not my favorite and I really don’t like the voice she chose for Bass.

Light hearted

I felt this was a very good, lighthearted story about a girl finding love in the midst of a tragedy. It is greeat for teenagers and young adults trying to get into reading.

it was okay.

3.75⭐ Bass & Katalina: triggers- child abandonment, loss, grief, family discord. this was a very clean, coming of age romance with an extremely slow burn. a different approach to the shifter world but not bad. just not what I wanted to read as far as content. I needed more romance, more passion, more energy. 😜🤣🤦🏾‍♀️. this just wasn't is. this would fit the YA genre a lot better. but it's definitely interesting, there's a sort of love triangle but with an unrequited love and a arranged marriage (mating). this is a good read just not my jam.

narrators voice is screechy and high pitched whenever the character is screaming or yelling at someone... VOLUME DOWN to protect your ears.

Excellent Narrator!!

This is the first book (on Audible) that has captured & held my attention until the very end. I'm still in the middle of one, but have also tried listening to 3 others, that I was sure I'd love. I was beginning to think Audible just wasn't for me, because I was distracted so easily while listening to them. Then I started reading this, & it hooked me. I am now really hoping I can find more books narrated by Lauren Ezzo!
