Publisher's Summary

Following the road ahead, Jack Widow is thrown neck-deep into a conspiracy that spans from Washington's most secretive agency to the mountains of Wyoming.

Deep in Northern Wyoming, in the dead of winter, CIA Agent Alex Shepard is desperate. A few days ago, he sent an undercover agent to the Red Rain Indian Reservation to investigate a secret terrorist plot. But when his man was supposed to check-in, Shepard heard nothing. No report. No communication. No sign that his agent was still alive.

With a major snowstorm fast-approaching, Shepard's secret mission is in peril. He suspects that his agent is dead. There's no time left. And lives are on the line.

Enter drifter and former undercover NCIS agent Jack Widow - Shepard's one hope to recover his agent and stop an unthinkable terrorist plot.

Book 2 equally as good as the first! 5 Easy Stars!

I started listening to this series and am listening to the third in two days. Unfortunately right now that's all that is available on Audible so far. Hopefully the rest will be available soon.

The publisher's summary gives a partial overview of the lie told to Jack Widow. The problem is that Widow believes what he is told and inadvertently puts an entire Native American reservation in danger of destruction if he succeeds.

The Jack Widow books are very well written and highly entertaining. Anyone who has read Lee Child's Jack Reacher books will inevitably see quite a few parallels between the two characters. However the stories/situations are vastly different
Alan Philip Ormond does an outstanding job narrating.
This series has my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS.

Jack Reacher eat your heart out!

This is an excellent listen! I am biased. But Alan Ormond is Frank Muller reincarnated!
