Publisher's Summary

Working on the ranch and settling down is all Grayson's ever wanted in life. When he meets the woman who could make that a reality, he learns she hates him with every fiber of her being.

He knows she's being unreasonable since their bickering is the hottest foreplay he's ever had.

Mackenzie Bishop's an elementary school teacher and can tolerate a lot until it comes to Grayson. He may act like he doesn't remember what he did, but Kenzie will never forget. Not when the memory of that night still lingers in her mind years later.

She denies her attraction, but she can't hide it forever, especially when there's no escaping him.

Although she refuses to give him the time of day, one drunken night changes everything--just not in the way he had hoped.

Winning the Cowboy is a complete stand-alone and can be listened to without listening to any of the other books or spin-off series, but if you prefer to listen in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect. Suggested for mature listeners only.

Circle B Perfection!

The Bishops and the Circle B Ranch, every single book just gets better and better! I never want these stories to end. Lia Langola and Tor Thom bring Mackenzie and Grayson to life and brings the fire between these two. The love/hate relationship between Mackenzie and Grayson and the shenanigans between them are fantastic. The incorporation of all the Bishops is awesome, it always takes me back to beginning and makes me want to revisit everyone. You can not go wrong with a Bishop story. The dynamic duo of Kennedy Fox bring you one amazing story.

Kenzie and Grayson FINALLY!!!!

I believe that Lia Langola is the perfect Kenzie Bishop and Tor Thom is the best Grayson!!! These narrators made this book even better than before. I am absolutely ecstatic that we finally found out why Kenzie has been mad at Grayson for so long and that it doesn't keep them from getting their HEA in the end. I think we all need some more dirty talking alpha Grayson in our lives,

Everyone wins!

Kenzie’s story! Kennedy Fox doesn’t disappoint. Kenzie is feisty and quick witted. She’s passionate and strong. Grayson met his match when he came to town. While it takes a long time for Kenzie to come clean with Grayson about why she had so much animosity towards him, the progression of their relationship after that point goes much faster. I like how everyone in the Circle B Ranch series is a part of the subsequent books. It shows the family aspect of the series and demonstrates the connectedness among the characters.

Tor Thom and Lia Langola...what more can I say about this dynamic duo and the Bishop World of characters? Lia made Kenzie the right amount of sweet and sassy and Tor made Grayson the right amount of broody and full of swagger.

I received an advance copy of the e-book and a complimentary copy of the audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this review.

Loved This Book

I absolutely loved listening to this book and finally getting to the bottom of what truly happened to make MacKenzie hate Grayson so much. Can't wait to find out what happens with the rest of the family. Kennedy Fox, Tor Thom and Lia Langola did an amazing job bringing the characters to life

Ideal standalone

If you want the full line up of characters start at the first book but this is a great standalone! There is everything that you want in an enemies to lovers romance with an amazing ending. I love how foster and adoption is brought up this is a first that I’ve really heard of that in these books but it’s just a great feel good book overall. Including all the romance your heart desires.

Wonderful Story

The narrators nailed this story! I loved listening to this come to life!

I love this story and the banter!!

Grayson and Kenzie will make you laugh so hard at the way they go back and forth. But the undeniable attraction is there under the surface.
I am not going to lie... I loved the drama that was in this story. It had just enough to keep you guessing and trying to figure out what was going to happen next.

Plus getting to see all the others from this world is a nice bonus.

This is a great enemies to lovers story!

Absolutely adored this one!

I absolutely loved this story! It was a fantastic read that pulled me in from beginning to end. This can be read as a standalone but if you have read the previous books in the series than you will have seen Kenzie and Grayson arguing and fighting from the beginning and not knowing why Kenzie has it out for him. It was great finally getting to learn the reason why this time. I loved getting to see these two prank each other until Grayson finally negotiates a truce where the truth comes out. This story will have you entertained and engaged from beginning to end as you wait to figure out what these two will be up to next. I loved getting to see them finally start coming together and building that relationship. This was a great read and I truly adored these characters. I can't wait to see what is going to happen with the rest of the Bishops this generation, especially a specific love triangle.
The narrators did a fantastic job with this as well. Great job with the voices and emotions that really just brought the story to life and added another element to it!

Finally! We get to know why she hates him

This is the 6th book in the series and these are really good for standing on their own, however you get so much more depth having read the whole series.

Grayson & Kenzie have been in the background of the series for so long. And I've been waiting for this enemies to lovers payoff. Especially since Grayson has absolutely zero idea what he did to tick off firecracker Kenzie like this.

Grayson came to Circle B after having his heart stomped on in a very dramatic family situation (which we learn in the prologue) so that he can have a fresh start. He leaves all that stuff behind him and comes to become part of the Bishop world. Yet, no one on the ranch knows what happened, he's completely separated his world into before and after.

At the time of this book, he's been working on Circle B for about 6 years and Kenzie's had a burr in her saddle since the day she lays eyes on him. We get to see their epic level prank war for a bit as they battle back and forth over time. We see moments from previous books and learn their context and see them from inside the heads of this couple instead of someone else from the outside.

This book really is all about building towards the reveal of why Kenzie is so upset with the thought of Greyson and then how they both deal with the situation once he finds out the reason. When everything is out in the open, will they flip from Enemies to Lovers?

It's a Kennedy Fox HEA guaranteed romance, of course they will!!!! But it's all about the journey, not the destination. And what an emotional journey it is.

The Audiobook for this story is performed by the deepness of Tor Thom and the versatility of Lia Langola. These narrators fit so well. Tor brought Greyson's humour to life and when the pain hits... you feel it. And his bedroom dirty talk is top notch. Lia Langola stole my heart with this one. Kenzie has this war going on inside her over Grayson and she brings it. But also, Kenzie is an elementary school teacher and that requires heart, softness and tenderness of spirit along with all the cute sweetie pie voices of the students. Every time Lia brings one of these kids (Bishop descendant or not) it made me melt.

Grayson and Kenzie banter in audio form....PERFECT

I loved their story when I read it but I swear the audio made me love it even more. Even though Tor Thom has read the last few of these I feel like his portrayal of Grayson was on an entirely different level in this book.....it just seemed so much more. Maybe it is because of who Grayson is and the bantering that goes on between him and Kenzie. As usual Lia totally nailed Kenzie. She has yet to ever disappoint me when narrating a book. She is one of my favorites. I knew when I read the banter between the two of them that I was going to love it in audio.
Grayson and Kenzie are the epitome of slow burn. They constantly dance around each other and as much as Kenzie wants to hate him it becomes impossible.

Fire at Circle B

Grayson and Kenzie's book is one I have been waiting for, for what feels like forever.

Their bickering and banter, the flirting and fire between them has been a great source of entertainment for me throughout this series.

While I had a pretty good idea after the last book what had happened between them for Kenzie to feel the way she did, I wasn't spot on.

This book started with the same vibe they have been giving off for what feels like years. More digs, more jabs, more pranks and flirting. But once they called a truce, well... that's when things REALLY got interesting.

Their connection has always been apparent to me, their attraction to each other as clear as crystal.

And boy, when they finally broke through that line, It. Was. Hot.
Like, burn the house down, start a wildfire, H. O. T.

And despite the deliciously dirty words that came out of Grayson's mouth, he was also really sweet. The effort he put in and the surprises he planned for Kenzie absolutely melted me.

As did the epilogues.
Yip, you read that right. Plural.
So good 😍

Lia—like always—nailed the narration.
Tor also did a great job.

Grayson and Mackenzie

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love Kennedy fox books I not read one I don’t love and this one was added to that collection.

You can’t not love their cowboy stories either they bring the heat, chemistry, love, addictive stories and grandma rose and her kids!

I was waiting for this story for ages and I loved their history which reading other books you want to know and it bugged you. I love that the book give you the information so quickly and wasn’t dragged out.

For me in this series I think it joint with bossing the cowboy as that was my favourite but I just love this one too so I having two favourites!

My Thoughts on Winning the Cowboy

This one was very entertaining. The antics of the two main characters Grayson and Mackenzie alone made for an enjoyable listen. I didn’t love the fact that a lot of the issue keeping Grayson and Kenzie apart was a case of miscommunication or failure to communicate. But I did really like that it was acknowledged. It wasn’t me as a reader fuming about it after the book was done. The character that misunderstood things or failed to communicate owned it and they moved forward. I still found myself smiling a lot while listening to this story and that’s one of the main things I can hope for in a story to make me happy. I especially liked the bonus epilogue and was very happy with the way Lia Langola narrated it.

Both Tor Thom and Lia Langola have been the recurring narrators throughout this series, and I was good with that. They both do such a great job of varying their voices for the different characters and keeping things interesting. Not a bit of monotone to be heard here. I hope to hear more of them in future on this series and other books as well.

Full of banter and classic Circle B vibes

Winning the Cowboy is Kenzie and Greyson's story and I loved the enemies to lovers vibe they had through the first half of the audiobook! The banter and quick witty remarks, the attitude and the sexual tension was perfect! Alongside this came some fantastic pranks the hero and heroine played on each other and I was chuckling away to myself as I listened to Thor and Lia's narration. I enjoyed the performances from both Thor and Lia but Lia nailed it for me all the way, she got Kenzie's sass perfectly!

The premise over Kenzie's grudge and dislike for Greyson had me intrigued and I loved how the whole story came together. This is another fantastic addition to the Circle B series. Plenty of little teases regarding the next few books to come too and I cannot wait for more!

Grayson and Kenzie!

Kenzie has a big heart but if you get on her wrong side watch out. From the moment that Grayson started working at the ranch she has made it her top priority to make it as difficult as possible as she can as everything about the man infuriates her and since he doesn’t remember she isn’t about to tell him why.

Grayson has a difficult past, but he has found a home and a family within the confines of Circle B Ranch. He has been attracted to Kenzie for as long as he can remember but nothing he says or does can break through the barricade she has put between them. When the situation between them escalates they declare a ceasefire and that is when they are thrown a curveball that neither saw coming.

The practical jokes they play on each other will have you laughing out loud, their banter is humorous, their chemistry hot but it is the emotional pull of the story as all is revealed that you will remember the most. The narrators did a wonderful job of bringing out both the humor and heart of this story.

More Circle B Ranch Greatness! Fabulous🎧📚🎧Listen!

The only reason I am giving this book five stars is because I can not give it more and yes, this beauty of a romance novel deserves well over five stars. The gifted Kennedy Fox never disappoint, I enjoy their writing style and how easy it is to fall in love with the characters and storylines they create and this book, Mackenzie “Kenzie” Bishop and Grayson Harding’s story, is no exception. Grayson is a charming sweetheart of a man, he found a home at Circle B ranch after heartbreak and bad situation. He is a hardworking cowboy who loves his job but there is one more than that would make his life better, that would be Kenzie, but she has hated him from the moment he stepped on the ranch. Kenzie, a school teacher with a heart of gold for her students but she has her reasons for being angry at Grayson, though she never shared why, not even to him. But he never gave up on her, he pushed her buttons and she gave it right back to him. The chemistry between them was smoldering and undeniable though Kenzie refused to give in. The dialogue and banter between them was hysterical, as was the shenanigans, they try to outdo each other every time, but when it is Grayson time to get back at her he offers her an alternative, if she does something for him he’ll call it a truce. I loved how everything played out in this book, the beautifully plotted story is fun, entertaining and contains a whole lot of heart. And that bonus epilogue was everything, it was touching and had me smiling ear to ear. Kennedy Fox thank you for another wonderfully delightful story, I can’t wait for my next visit to Circle B Ranch!

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Lia Langola and Tor Thom continue to bring these characters and their story to life. They have a complete understanding of the characters they portray, giving each a voice that fits that character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable and just as I picture the character to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters’ emotions and projects them into their performance. They set the perfect tone for the story, handle the witty dialogue with ease and land the humor effortlessly, never missing a beat. Thank you for another wonderfully entertaining listen.

Best couple so far? Maybe

4.75 Stars Are Kenzie and Greyson my favourite Circle B couple? Maybe. I read this book in one sitting and it was such a needed warm hug to be back on the ranch with the Bishops and their every growing family. You really need to read this but only KF could make a second chance enemies to lovers story work and still bring the slow burn tension and typical KF banter and spice. Loved all this so much. Kinda worried where the books are going now because...angst city friends..I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.
