Publisher's Summary

Disarmed and leaderless, the United States is united no longer. Washington has been reduced to a smoking pile of radioactive rubble. Out of the blasted ruins of a once great land emerges a hero for the ages, Hawk Hunter, the brilliant ace fighter pilot. A fearless man of extraordinary abilities crossing a war-blackened landscape, a nightmarish breeding ground of slavery, carnage, violence, and death. A savage lone warrior on the bloody road to retribution, keeping alive the indomitable spirit of a forgotten dream call "America".

Included in this colleciton are Books 1-4: Wingman, The Circle War, The Lucifer Crusade, and Thunder in the East.

Don't miss the rest of the Wingman series. Also, you can get the next four Wingman titles in one!

WINGMAN SERIES

I HAVE READ THE PAPERBACKS A FEW TIMES AND I JUMP AT THE CHANCE TO HAVE THEM ON AUDIO. THIS IS A GREAT COPY OF THE FIRST 4 BOOKS OF THE SERIES, AND I LOOK FORWARD TO PURCHASING THE REST OF THE SERIES. OFCOURSE I ALSO HAVE THE WINGMAN COLLECTION II, WHICH HAS THE NUMBER 5-8 BOOKS.

Can't read just one

You will know very quickly if you like this series or hate it! If you enjoyed it as much as I did then you won't stop until the end. Sadly (or with great anticipation) there is at least one episode; #9 that hasn't been recorded yet. Hawk Hunter lives on only to fight a never ending battle.(or does he?) Must be read in series to enjoy it fully.

Drivel...

I was hopeful that this series might prove exciting and interesting, however, it proved irritating and dull. Where to start, it is clear that the author understands as much about military hardware, tactics, and aviation as he understands about characterisation, plot and suspense.

It is bad enough that the lead ?caricature? is a psychic, MIT graduate, fighter pilot, who seems to have forgotten the first rule of air combat? ?Never, ever leave your wingman?? who loads so much ordinance on to his F16, as to not actually be able to take off, but the plot is so full of far right wing 70?s-80?s rhetoric as to be nearly funny.

Leave the Wingman to himself? he seems happier that way.
