For sure, as the title suggests, is very basic, but contains great information. I would recommend for anyone with very limited knowledge around wine and wanting to learn a bit more about wine.

was a great book to get an introduction to the basics of wine. Will be a great stepping stone to become a sommelier.

Loved the section on how to look like a pro at the restaurant when asking for and assessing the wine. But I wanted to know things like how do I store wine at home when you don't have a cellar, how long can I keep wine after I open it. Do I need to keep it on its side of it didn't have a cork? I guess I'll wait for the 5th edition.

If you really are a dummy when it comes to wines, this is the book for you. I really enjoyed it, and it gave me the basic info i want.

Rather I formative, but as you learn more about wine you can notice easily that some information is not quite accurate. Some theories are nothing but myths and I think delivering right info is more important than large info
