Publisher's summary

"Being a werewolf is harder than it looks. Everyone thinks it's just morph at the full moon, kill, morph back. That's not true. It's a lot harder than that. Especially if you are 17 years old."

Willow has the worst luck. First she has to deal with her narcissistic foster mother, Bella. Then, of course, there's her horrid little sister Ivy; not to mention the pack of werewolves that belong to Bella. Now, they have to move and start a new school - again.

Just when Willow thinks things can't get any worse, Blake shows up from a council she never knew existed to name her leader of a pack she never knew existed. How was she supposed to teach a bunch of teenagers how to be wolves when she herself hated everything about her life?

Loved it!

I've seen a lot of reviews saying that this book wasn't the best, but I love it! I wish the second book was by the same narrator! I'll probably read the second book instead of listening to it. I've never found a book like this one! Thank you for your gift! The narration is great as well!!

Willow

What a different take with wolves. It was different for a female alpha type if story. If it was real life with wolves? I cannot imagine a female being on the hierarchy. There was high school drama going on but I was able to keep up. Overall good story.
Loved the narration.

YA, action packed, werewolf saga begins

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this audiobook to anyone who love a good young adult, action packed, suspense story. The story is very engaging from page 1.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Willow was my favorite character because I loved her sass and determination. She may have been young at 17 to lead a pack but the girl was tough. Despite second guessing herself a lot, she really grew into the role as leader.

Which character – as performed by Sarah Beth Goer – was your favorite?

My favorite character, as performed by Sarah Beth Goer, was Jed. I loved the art in which she conveyed his laid back character in his voice. It reminded me a little of Matthew McConaughey.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved the end when its time to turn the pack over but Willow stands her ground and refuses. (Due to spoilers that is all I can say)

Any additional comments?

I previously read the book as well so here is a snippet of my review.
Willow is seventeen when she is forced to leave her family and is thrust in a completely new environment and told to lead a punch of blustery werewolf boys. I see is as a learning experience for her. I enjoyed watching her take her place as the pack leader and adding order to the chaotic lifestyle the pack had been leading. This book was action packed and a definite page turner. I would definitely recommend this book.

Willow: The Blood Vine Series

My Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I listened to this book on Audible. It's a story of a teen werewolf female and the pack she is given to lead. The author did a great job with writing this story and the narrator did a great job at telling this story. I enjoyed the story from start to finish and the twists thrown in at the end. I'll be looking forward to the next book in the series!
