Wildfire

Lin Sloan never wanted anything more than Wildfire, but the stallion almost killed him. Luckily, Lucy Bostil found the horse and the unconscious man who had roped him. But Sloan is not the only man interested in Wildfire, and he may resort to murder to get what he wants.

Wildfire is another classic western by American author Zane Grey. The book was first published in 1917.

Wonderful book and narration

We’ll done. This is one of my favorite Zane Grey books and Pete Bradbury doesn’t an excellent job of narrating. Excellent voice!

I love this stuff if you have lived in this country from Durango north to the Yukon and spit in the Arctic Ocean this book is amazing.

Best Zane Grey

I have enjoyed the novels of Zane Grey for years, but have also been aware of some of the weaknesses of his writing. I read Wildfire a few years ago and only recently found it on Audible. What a wonderful experience! Listening to it read by Pete Bradberry made me realize how fantastic the writing is in this book. From the gripping horse chase to the final rescue scene, this book held me enthralled. I think it is my new favorite.
