Publisher's summary

When Katie Underwood discovers a litter of abandoned mountain-lion cubs, the last person she expects the zoo to send over is her former crush...and high-school bully. And the worst part? He doesn't even remember her. So as soon as they rescue the cougars, Katie plans to permanently part ways with the infuriatingly attractive zookeeper.

Bowie Wilson can't figure out why the beautiful redhead seems to hate his guts. But he considers himself lucky when her mother volunteers her to help raise the cubs - he could use the extra hands. Forced to work with Bowie, Katie is determined to protect her heart. But a lovelorn camel, a matchmaking honey badger, and a nursemaid capybara have completely different plans....

Fantastic Story from start to finish!

I am so happy I stumbled across this story. The characters were so well developed that you felt every emotion along with them. Fluffy the honey badger had me laughing out loud. Narrator was absolutely superb. Can’t wait to listen to the next one!

A refreshing love story!

This is a very engaging and entertaining story. I was particularly amused by "fluffy's" match-making efforts. Well worth a credit! :)

Unrealistic, Annoying and Poorly Written

Overall, I just didn't like this book. I was able to listen to maybe 2 hours of it and then I just had to drop it. The characters aren't really well developed and have very unrealistic traits. It's the type of book that I would maybe read in middle school . The drama, logic and train of thought is very childish. There's the illusion of complexity but the characters are as boring as they come.

Good but can Everyone Get Over Their Pasts?!

Nice story but seriously, thirty year olds still wallowing in hurts from high school? Get over it! I liked the characters and the daughter, zoo storyline but the whole high school pity party bully thing was too much. Yes, bullying is wrong and hurtful, etc. We all know it's wrong, we all know it happens regardless. If someone is in their thirties and they haven't moved forward from crap in high school then they really need professional help. I wish writers would focus on more positives in their storylines than the negatives. I'm pretty sure they could still write a good piece of work without all of the damn angst. Listen to this story and skip the repetitive parts, repeat sex scenes and the poor poor me parts. Then it won't be quite so long.
