Publisher's summary

Search-and-rescue pilot Kacey Fairing is home on leave in Mercy Falls, Montana, 12 years after she joined the military to escape the mistakes of her past. With a job waiting for her as the new lead pilot of Peak Rescue in Glacier National Park, Kacey hopes to reconnect with the now-teenage daughter she sees only between deployments. What she doesn't realize is that someone else is also back in town.

Ben King has been building his country music career since the day Kacey shut him out of her life. Now all of that's on hold when his injured father calls him home to help run Peak Rescue until he's fully recovered. It doesn't take long, though, to discover his father's ulterior motives as Kacey Fairing walks into the house and back into his heart.

With Mercy Falls in a state of emergency due to flash floods, Kacey and Ben are forced to work together to save lives. But when floodwaters turn personal, can they put aside the past to save their future?

Big Sky Montana, with lots of love

I love most things involving Montana. It shows all the love and visions of the wild mountains and Big Sky Country. The love of God in every Chapter.

Started out kind of boring

At first I didn’t think I would like it as it was very petty and teenager level but as it went on it became very interesting with many twists and turns. How some people worry about everything.

Wonderful book

One of the best books I have listened to. There was suspense, mystery, intrigue and of course a beautiful love story.

Very good narration; lots of angst for me

This book is well written and has wonderful characters and wonderful descriptions. The story shows how lives can be torn apart by parents interfering in their child's life and lying. It just has too much angst for me to really enjoy. It has a wonderful message of faith and the ending is happy. The narration is very good!

Great story of first love , mistakes and second chances..

I loved the developing story of lost love , second chances and new beginnings. I am anxious for the second and third and fourth books in this series. Pretty please let there be more!!!

Montana Rescue, Book 1

The story line is good, keeps you wanting to read more. There are some issues that made this book very challenging to listen to and left me wishing that I had purchased the book not the Audible version. The narrator seemed to have a difficult time with the accents and made most of the characters sound like they were from the Deep South, not Montana. There were times that, if the author had not named the character, I would not have known who was speaking. As with the Christiansen Family series, phrases and words were repetitive and made me ask myself if I wanted to continue reading the Montana Rescue books. The story itself was good, just too many editing errors that were annoying.
