I have absolutely loved every book thus far in this series. But this third one is the best one yet. It’s so full of action and plot and deeper character development that I feel like I need a vacation after finishing it.

There are so many different characters and story lines and many writers have trouble managing all of them but not this writer. He juggles every new introduction of a character and every new peripheral story line with ease. He ties up every loose end, excluding ones that might pop up in future books. Nothing feels rushed or weak.

I love these books so much that I buy the physical copy after I’ve listened to them here. My apologies for not remembering the narrator’s name but she is a huge reason I insist on listening to the books first. She is one of the best narrators I’ve encountered in all the years I’ve listened to stories on this platform .

Best book yet

I like this book and all the action, sadly I had figured out the Rouge Wolf's identity Way before the author gave the information to the reader. Wish the author could have masked that better, but a Seriously Good book. Narrator did a wonderful job and I look forward to the next book in this series.

Very good continuation of Series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Hell yeah.
This series is masterful. Imagine the best Patricia Briggs, Faith Hunter, perhaps even Jennifer Estep. Make it a little better, and that's what this is.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Amber, though I love a lot of the background characters in the story too,

What about Julia Motyka’s performance did you like?

Great. She takes an already great book and somehow makes it better.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It's a bit of a weighty tome so that was never an option but it's certainly a book that grabbed me by the throat and dragged me through the pages.

Patricia Briggs, move over, Mark Henwick is here.
