Publisher's Summary

Four years ago at a film festival, Cici Fine met Cooper Wild, a man who turned her world upside down in the span of one deliciously perfect week. He was everything she'd ever dreamed of: sinfully sexy, intelligent, and incredibly loving. When the festival ended, they returned to their own hometowns with promises of forever. But Cooper disappeared, and Cici was left to raise the daughter he never knew about alone.

Cooper is finally thinking straight after years of being lost in grief from the tragedy that killed his father and left his mother blind. Now he's on a mission to find the woman he left behind - the only woman he's ever loved.

But Cici Fine is no longer a naive young girl. She's a savvy businesswoman with big responsibilities, on the cusp of a life-changing move. When fate brings the two together, they'll put the old adage to the test and find out if love really can conquer all.

Cooper and Cici- Sizzle

Cooper, the youngest of the 4 Wild Brothers, and a photographer met Cici (Celeste) and they were hot and heavy from the start. Shortly after meeting Cooper, Coopers life changed dramatically. His father was killed and his mother was blinded by a home invasion. Cooper was an angry angry man. Cici was unaware of what happened to Cooper, she felt used BUT found herself pregnant. Move forward 4 years and they meet once again at a photography event. Cooper had no idea that he had a daughter and Cici was very careful to keep their daughter a "secret" from him. Once they reconnect and Cici heard the truth of what happened after they met the sizzle is back.

Paul Woodson has a soothing voice which I enjoy listening to!

I have to say, Melissa Foster's books have NEVER disappointed me. I love each new one more then the the last one. Cooper was one that touched me in a different way then some of her other hot males. I think he was my favorite (though I think I say this after each of her books)

He promised her forever...and then disappeared!

I listened to the audio version of this book. I love these books by Melissa Foster that have turned the heat up just a little from what she was writing. It gives the characters a little maturity that seemed lacking in some of the others.
Cooper's story is a second chance at love trope. Cooper comes back into Cici's life wanting another chance at giving her forever, which he promised her before he disappeared four years earlier. Needless to say, winning her over may take a little work and soul bearing. The circumstances soften Cici's heart enough for him to at least get a foot in the door and maybe more of him into her bed.
I really did love the two of them together, but he didn't have to work hard enough to get her back. It taking a little longer would have given Cici more backbone, but it was a short book. Of course, the voice of narrator Paul Woodson contributed to me not caring a whole lot!
I was given a complimentary copy of this audio book. All thoughts are my own.

Lost Love

Audiobook Review…Oh my.. these Wild Boys are amazing. Paul Woodson has the perfect voice to bring Cooper Wild to life. As I listened to Paul’s voice I could feel the love, the respect, and the fear at losing the love of his life that Cooper has. While the story is Melissa Foster’s to share listening to the story instead of reading it brought it to life for me. Everything about the story, the narrator, and the characters is perfect. Whether you are familiar with the story and characters or new to them I highly recommend listening to Cooper Wild’s story.

eBook Review… A love lost…or almost. Cooper met his soul mate then his family had a catastrophe happen and he lost her. The sad part, Cici didn’t even know what made him leave her. This is a story of hope and lost love. Cooper comes back to where he met Cici and does find her again. I liked that Cici did not just forgive and forget. He has to work to get her to even spend time with her.

Within this book is also a HUGE secret. I am not sure most men would handle the secret as Cooper did. When the secret came to light he took it in stride. He did not let it disrupt anyone’s lives and proved his love by rolling with what was happening.

In true Melissa Foster style, she brought the reader a new family of hot sexy men. These men are a little hotter and a little sexier than others she has written about. The storyline is more graphic than other books in her series. I am definitely in lust with these men.

Very short story about the last Wild brother

A long lost love resurfaces at the right time for photographer Cooper and she has a surprise. Some hot scenes but quick moving with a rushed ending. Mediocre narration and not worth a credit.

Cooper was my fav Wild Boy

Cooper was not seen a lot during the other three brothers stories but he was there in the background. I was not sure what to expect from him but I am happy that I hung in there to get to his story. Cici and Cooper made that burning connection that went beyond casual sex and outside flirting. The made bond with each other that made a disconnect in both of their lives when they were apart. The disconnect was handled in different ways by each of them.

This was a short story but it made an impact for me. It was on the one story of this series that made the biggest impact for me. There was a history between Cici and Cooper. There was a real sightline for a future for them also. Getting to know Cooper and Cici was delightful.

Palu Woodson brought this one to life with a voice made to make a man stand out.

Having never read author I had no expectations

I was looking for a secret baby book, while yes that was part of the plot, the focus was on the reconnection and there was no fighting their lust personally I wanted a bit more push and pull but what I got was the very in detail tragedy the hero suffered and a heroine that could not fight her response to his presence.

As far as the narration this was told different than what I am used too, usually it from a POV from one of the main characters, in this it was told as a 3 person view and for me this is not a favorite hense the loss of the second star.

Narration Seemed a little Over the Top

This was predictable. I listened to the audio book which was about 3 hrs and 40 min. Based on the previous books, it wasn't long enough to be full of angst or have a really detailed storyline.

Cooper and CiCi had not seen or spoken to each other in 4 years. I don't know why he couldn't have tried to call her before just showing up. I don't know that I could have so easily accepted his explanation. I know grief effects everyone differently, but I am not accepting that over a span of 4 years Cooper could not have picked up a phone ONE time!

Next, after ignoring Cici for that long, he feels the need to tell her about things I am would imagine she would rather not have known. He could have easily kept all that to himself.

I thought the narration sounded kind of dramatic. Maybe a little over the top for this book. It was ok, but I didn't feel like it for the characters at all.

A quick listen with a HEA that was an OK listen. I hate to say it, but I can't tell you 100% if there were steamy scenes or not. I think there were one of two, but if they were in the book, they were not memorable. I would give this 2.5 stars.

Great ending to a series

Wild Boys After Dark: Cooper is the fourth book in the Wild Boys series by Melissa Foster and is narrated by Paul Woodson. Cooper left his new relationship after the brutal attack on his parents. Dealing with his dads death left him completely lost and numb. He finally realizes that he is missing that one true love. 4 years later he sets out for a second chance with Cici. This story was my favorite. Great Job Melissa!!

I loved all the other Wild Boy audi books and could not wait for Coopers story, I was not disappointed!!!!

Sweet, sexy, loving..... the list goes on.

Cooper and Cici had a connection from the start but tragic circumstances kept them apart. When they come back into each other's life Cooper is in for a shock but a happy one.

I listened to this book in one night, I couldn't stop. I had an early night and went to bed with Cooper ;)

I loved it <3

Have you listened to any of Paul Woodson’s other performances? How does this one compare?

This is the second book I have listened to by Paul Woodson and it is read in the same soothing manner. I found it very easy to listen to.

Any additional comments?

Of the Wild Boys, Cooper has become my favourite. I have completely fallen in love with his story. Melissa has done a fantastic job with this story.

Cooper and Cici story should have been straight forward. They met at a festival they were both attending for work, and they were instantly drawn to each other. However, it was after returning from this that Cooper disappeared from Cici and the daughter he doesn't know. After getting his life back on track after the home invasion that cost the Wild boys their father and their mother her eyesight, Cooper is determined to find Cici and convince her to try again.

Having listened to all of the Wild Boys books, I found this one the most moving. There were times I teared up and I loved it.

Enjoy, but have a box of tissues close.
