Publisher's summary

"You don't deserve Heaven. You're more interesting than good can ever be."

Ever since Ellis lost her twin, Ash, in a car crash, she's suffered terrible nightmares. She sees Ash in a strange and mystical land, running for her life. But from who? Or what? And when Ellis wakes from her dreams, it's often to a world on fire.

Ellis is only days from her 18th birthday when firefighters storm into her house to put out the flames. Her mother surrenders her to a reform school for mutants like her. It's a class of three, locked away in a haunted asylum. They are meant to battle the dead as well as their own demons.

She's locked away with two men she probably shouldn't trust. Ryker. She's drawn to the dangerous knight with the mystical tattoos. Levi. She finds comfort in the kind-hearted, sword-swinging killer.

"The three of us together are too dangerous to cage."

Angel of a harem

This title caught my eye . It’s my first from the author. Glad I took a chance . It’s becau it’s a reverse harem and the magnificent Stephanie Rose narrator was reading it .
This had a great storyline with all sort of different brothers , actually they were half brothers but two of them . And The female was Lilith . Evie who is Lilith is the reincarnated of the first woman on earth . It starts out that Lilith was taken away from her mother when her sister died in a car crash . Slowly Lilith starts to have dreams and when the dreams become strong fire comes out of her hands . Her mother thinks that she is going to a boarding school but she is actually going to go to a haunted mental hospital. Ryker who you will later learn is one of her harem projects himself to her and tells her everything will be okay . At the haunted hospital she meets Rykers other brother Levi . And then she meets Jason , half angel , half human who is British
Why was she taken to the haunted hospital and what does the company want with her .

Stephanie Rose was fantastic as always . How she did all 4 voices were great . Her doing Jason British Accent was sooo dead one

Well written

This story is a wonderful fantasy that will leave you wanting more. The mysteries just start to unravel in this first book and I am excited to see where the story goes next. It is a medium burn so things get steamy but not like page 2 steamy. Definitely going to download the second one right now.

I think you did a very good job expressing the feelings in the story. Nice job.

Just Gets Better

It took a moment or two to get fully into the story but by the time it ended I was hooked. I cant wait to see where the others go.

Enjoyed the story

Enjoyable RH. My first book but May Dawson & I must say I enjoyed it. The MC heroine is likable & although willing to enter into a world she never knew existed with 2 handsome hunters she had the right amount of suspicion. Not overly willing to jump into bed with them but a healthy attraction that built up. I like the fact that although all parties were willing they respected her age (minor-ish in earlier chapters) until it was no holds needed. The guys are like able characters & they are patient. Interested in her body ( or it would not be a RH) but also in preparing her for a fight or battle. Not willing to knock her up but make her a Fierce
The story is interesting & it moves at a good pace not to fast to give narrative whip blast and no so slow you are in your head saying just do it & move on. Lol.
I am looking forward to where there adventure leads them & completion of the harem. 🙂

A little confusing and slow

This first book in the series seemed a little all over the place and slow. It wasn’t really clear who the “4” actually are or who they are. Hopefully it will make more sense in book 2

needs more....

Narration was great for this book. They put lilt in their voice and I attempted to get into the story line. I hoped with book 2 and 3 the series would get better but for me it was like a bunch of millennials, picking fights, trying to figure out who was good and who was two faced bad. Rarely did the sarcasm between the 5 of the main characters feel funny to me. I wanted more excitement and less millennial drama from the series.

Lovely Narrator

I really loved this narrator! She has a lovely voice and a soft, almost mysterious way of speaking. At first I thought it might drive me crazy, but it grabbed me and I could hear her voice reading the story even when I wasn't listening to it and had put it down.

Boring

Sounded good. Started off o.k. Got annoying after that. Stuck to it for a little longer hoping things will pick up. No. Stopped listening with 1 hour & 30 minutes left.

Pace was slow and not exciting. I had hopes for Ellie but she annoyed me. The 3 "angels" were fine. I think I just need to stop reading/listening to books with young heroines, but the authors suck you in with a good idea but...next thing you know, hours of your time is wasted on juvenile behaviors and antics.

Got a sneak peek at book 2. Sounds like the same.
