A clever retelling of Henry VIII and his wives
At first, I didn’t think I would like this book as didn’t care for for Harry but I pushed myself and fell under Ms Hayfield’s spell.
A loose retelling of the world class womanizer Henry VIII we follow Harry, a jaw dropping gorgeous man as he evolves into Forbes listed businessman. During his rise to become wealthier and beloved by the people of London, he picks up and discards women until something happens that tears his world apart.
Olivia Hayfield has written a clever retelling of Henry VIII and his wives with all the assorted characters placed in their respective roles.
Great book that, enemy though the story is familiar, holds your interest and keeps you turning the pages into the night.
The narrator was exceptional!
