Laura Adderley didn’t plan to get pregnant by her soon-to-be ex-husband, though she’ll do anything to protect her baby. But now reporter Harrison Frost is asking questions about the mysterious group of women who live at Siren Song lodge. Harrison hasn’t figured out Laura’s connection to the story yet. But Justice knows. And he is coming....

All her life, Laura has been able to sense approaching evil. But that won’t stop a psychopath bent on destroying her. Justice has been unleashed, and this time, there will be no place safe to hide....

Best narrator ever!

Don't listen to the review of Robert - Susan Ericksen is the best narrator you can come across, she's the absoulte queen of all different accents, characters, moods and everything. If there is one that can make a bad book (which this one certainly is not!!!) a great one - it's her! Just try it, you're gonna love her - and the story :-)

Boring!

I truly love Lisa Jackson's previous books and couldn't wait to hear this one. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be so terribly boring. Too much detail and convoluted storyline. I also have also enjoyed listening to Susan Erickson, particularly with J D Robb's In Death series. Her reading of this book came out as very angry with alot of angst and drama. I returned the book without even finishing the first section. Just waaaaay too BORING!

Nice listen - somewhat irritating narrator

I won't go into a long diatribe regarding this book and get straight to the point. All in all, a good storyline with strong characters. But the narrator made everyone but the main characters, childish, rude, angry with bad attitudes. The sarcastic tone she used was very irritating at times. If you can get past that, I think you'll enjoy the book.

Not her best but interesting over all.

I don’t know if I really enjoyed this book as much as I could have. Normally I read a book as a whole over a few days but this time it was bits and piece over three months. Just didn’t hold my attention .

yawn....cut it out

omg this book should have been edited for content. Way too much content that absolutely doesn't advance the story. Could have cut out 4 hours of content

Very good series.

I enjoyed the line these stories have taken. Great narration and performance, but a few too many repetitive phrases throughout the entire series. It's different if it were just one book but throughout them all?

Hard to believe

I actually listened to book 3 and really enjoyed it, I have listened to all 4 in the series and this one even though I enjoyed it
I was annoyed at the fact that when these 2 people were in danger they continually acted like they weren't
If you had a psycho killer after you then you wouldn't just go to work as a nurse oh the hospital is safe? Not believable
It's a shame cause it really has potential
Almost feels like they rushed the story line
I enjoyed the book but just found some of it ridiculous

Author needs to find a few new lines.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I wouldn't say the time listening was wasted, but I found the repetition of a few phrases to be a bit much. Especially the use of " released a breath she/he wasn't aware they were holding" It was used 3 times in the first 5 chapters, it got very annoying.

Have you listened to any of Susan Ericksen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love Susan Ericksen's ability to put the right spin on emotions in her characters. I realize she's reading a story written by another but she seems to capture the drama very well.

SSSSSisters

Apparently there is a prequel to this, but I couldn't find it on the site, which is a bit annoying; however, the plot doesn't require previous knowledge, so you're fine! A recently divorced nurse starts receiving psychic messages from an escaped serial killer. She must team up with a reporter to try and stop the killer taking out her sisters in the commune she grew up in.
