Very much agree with the author. Started with audible 20 years ago, and have noticed that I have been stripped of all my rights and the rights to own my books and do with them as I please after Amazon take over.

I'm happy to support the author at his preferred marketplaces.

Important information

Saw Cory Doctrow give a talk recently promoting his latest book. Immediately came to Audible but only found this short essay in their vast library. Having just listened to him explain his viewpoints on similar matters, I understood where he was going with this by just reading the title. I bought this as a vote in support of spreading his words. Totally agree with Doctorow

As a creator I’ve run into many ACX issues and have wide with much of my catalog. But, I can’t afford to not publish to all platforms like ACX. Perhaps some day. Excellent essay and I highly recommend this to all creators.
