Uninformed at best

The author presents a very skewed picture of the VFX industry from the perspective of someone who hasn't been in the business very long with a very norrow scope of experience. Yes, she does say much of this is based on her experience, but then proceeds to speak like she is an authority on things. Go look at her Imdb profile and you'll see most of her work has been with small shops working on TV episodes. I'm not saying what she presents is false, but she doesn't attempt to paint a complete picture of what it is like to work in VFX and it's long history. In the end this book is about her (the "I").
