Janiece is finally settled with her husband, Isaiah, after a whirlwind of drama with her ex-lover, K.P., and his wife. She is ready to live happily ever after, but Isaiah is called back to duty and has to serve eighteen months in Iraq. Janiece is left behind just when K.P. moves back to Chicago.
Still not over Janiece, K.P. wants her back. He is shocked to find out that she is now married and expecting her first child, and there is no chance for them to start over. my nerves were so bad! I felt like at times I couldn't handle the suspense. However I thugged it out to the end and was pleasantly happy with the ending. At times, I found myself wondering how would I handle everything that happened in the book. It was a great reflection to stay true to thine self...

I loved both books. I actually read this one first… I’m happy Isaiah was alive but damn Janice went through so much with his family. I wouldn’t have went back either.

This 2nd book was really good and the first, I was sad about Isaih but the story, performance and read was good. Always like to listen to Patricia R. Floyd.
