Man is this boring

It’s hard to follow and so far this book sounds exactly like book one: someone dies, blame the MFC, they put her under close surveillance, she humbly takes it and a bunch of convoluted stuff happens that has nothing to do with anything and she solves the case.

I honestly don’t feel connected to any of these characters and still have no clue who’s in a relationship with whom and can’t see how this is considered a romance. It should be a mystery (I’ve read mysteries with more spice, honestly) and have rain sounds in the background to put you to sleep because that’s pretty much all this series is good for. BORRRING AS HELL. Sorry not sorry. About to skip ahead to the end like I did in the first book and move the hell on. This should be YA. It’s lame.
