Ginnie and Declan!! He Falls First!

Great narration all the way through. ZERO complaints.

Ginnie - child star with a horrible mother, nice enough siblings - went viral when she tried to break up her ex's wedding several years ago. She's since been living with at Makepeace winery, a community of women who have had drastic things happen to them because of internet virality.

Declan - best friend of Ginnie's ex, retired pro hockey player, trying to get back to the game he loves. Currently travelling the country and doing mini documentaries about this and that, hoping that his new kind of fame will make him more intriguing to a professional hockey team, so he can get back to the game he loves.

BUT - Declan has been in love with Ginnie for years, even when she was dating Alex, his best friend. Now he's filming a documentary at the winery and trying to earn her forgiveness for how poorly he treated her all those years while he was pretending he didn't even like her, to hide the fact that he saw her, and he loved her.

This was a great read. Highly entertaining, holding this reader captive while we navigated some of the adventures and mysteries going on at the winery grounds. Plus, there's a fabulous new dog to love.

Only Getting Better

This series is fantastic! Each book just keeps getting better and better, and once again, the cast of narrators is absolutely on point!

This book was my introduction to Kristyna Zaharek, and I will absolutely be searching for more of her performances. She did such a fantastic job bringing Ginnie and her story to life.

Ginnie and Declan are so cute together, but their relationship comes with a surprisingly complex backstory. I loved listening as they slowly opened up, learned more about each other, and worked through everything that brought them to where they are. Their journey was sweet, emotional, and such a fun experience.

And, of course, Pippa Grant knows how to put you through ALL the emotions! 😂 Be prepared to laugh, cry, cry because you're laughing, and probably experience just about every other emotion along the way.

Another fantastic addition to the series, and I can't wait to see what comes next!

My dream cast!

I am OBSESSED with Ginny and Declan. The tension is so thick with these two! I adore the ladies (and Heath) of the winery, the pets, the concept of the winery being a safe haven for women who have gone viral for the wrong reasons The humor and found family in this series are top notch and what romcom dreams are made of

I ate up the backstory between Ginny and Declan. The fact that she is his best friend's ex and he was always rude to her because he has always had a thing for her caused the tension to be through the roof. I love "it's always been you" and Ginny was always Declan's end game. I adored this story and the character arc these two took and how they came together! The bits of mystery sprinkled in were a fun addition and the breadcrumbs about Mabel and Ten have me itching for book three in this series!

Seriously, Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais are my audio dream team. I already had this book in paperback and the ebook, but bought the audiobook because this full cast is utter perfection! These narrators could narrate an instruction manual and have me obsessed. Definitely get the audiobook, you will not regret it!

Pippa Grant writes the most fun and outlandish romantic comedies!! She also casts great narrators, you won't want to miss Connor Crais!
