Amazing story I hated to put it down

I would totally recommend this book. Was very hard to put this book down and when it came to an end I find myself still thinking about it. Amazing writer with amazing skills

Yes the performance added to my enjoyment.

The main character was my favorite, however all of the characters were complex and interesting.

I was caught up in the book from beginning to end!

So much history, relationships, difficult questions… I felt like I was there and had really gotten to know all the characters. and the recording is so we’ll narrated! I don’t re-read many books but I will read this again. Thank you Lynn Austin!

I have purchased 10 of Lynns books to give to my sister for Christmas . I will suggest she begin with this one ! Absolutely the best story yet !!! Absolutely!!

What and how she writes always leaves me wanting to know more about the timeframe and non-fictional characters she writes about in her books. Her attention to detail and ability to bring historical figures to life is truly captivating. I find myself constantly researching the time periods and individuals she references, eager to learn more about the world she has created within her pages. It's clear that her passion for storytelling and dedication to accuracy shine through in her work, making her books both educational and entertaining. I can't wait to dive into her next novel and discover even more about the fascinating people and events that she expertly brings to life.

Excellent read

It was a great “read”… the story flowed well and it was easy to listen to while multi-tasking. The story about how the Jews were treated is heartbreaking, but it is reality for the time. Thank you for writing this.

WONDERFUL!!

This was such a lovely book! It was exciting all the way through. It always left you wanting more. The ending was satisfying, unlike other books. Lynn Austin is such a talented Christian author!!!
