A good page turner

A story full os suspense , some parts seemed unbelieveable,yet, wanted to know the ending. Abby seemed clueless, and the other characters seemed to fit their role.
Overall her books are a,ways good and ones to enjoy

A thriller that lives up to its billing!

Two months ago, I read an ARC copy of While She slept and today I finished listening to a review copy of the audio book I received from the author. The following is my original review with an update for the audiobook.

While She Slept, N.L. Hinkens latest psychological thriller takes this genre to a new level. Having read or listened to nine previous books by this author I felt like I knew what to expect as I read While She Slept, and I was right – the story had well developed characters, plenty of suspense, a liberal serving of misdirection. However, in no way could I predict the major plot twists in this story which are what took it to the next level I psychological thrillers. If you enjoy stories I this genre, you owe it to yourself to grab a copy of While She Slept and settle in for a story that will keep you on edge from the beginning to the end. I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from the author and chose to provide my review.

Amy Deuchler’s narration takes this book to the next level, her pacing and individual voices for each character kept my attention to that last line. And while it has only been two months since I read the book, listening to it was like walking down familiar streets that had mystery around each corner.

Another well-written story from a very good author

While She Slept: Treacherous Trips Collection - Standalone Thrillers , my eighth amazing read from author N.L. Hinkens. I enjoyed the outstanding suspense story-line with its intricately woven twists and turns, more knots than Alexander the Greats Gordian Knot, I never saw the end coming! Norma (N.L.) Hinkens is on my radar of great authors! I was given an Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. Narrator Amy Deuchler's narration added to the book's enjoyment. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Fun, twisty read

This was my first novel by NL Hinkens and it was a fun, quick read! I thought I had things figured out in the beginning but I definitely did not guess the ending. I wish the characters had been a little more fleshed out. You really don’t get to know too much about Abby and her relationships with either of her husbands or her friends. But it was still a fun read and I look forward to more from this author.
