My Kid's Favorite!

I love that my son wants to listen to his favorite books when we're in the car, and Where the Wild Things Are is always his #1 pick. Even better, he gets to see the illustrations from this beloved classic while we're listening, and it's just the right length to get us to the grocery store!

Narrated Picture Book!

This is exactly what I was looking for from Audible: a narrated picture book. I have a kindle fire and I want the kids to see the original pictures and listen to a great story teller.

Where are the other ones like this?! I don't even see anything in the description that indicates that the pictures change as the story plays... If anyone knows, please help!

An imaginative story like no other...

Spending your time out in your room without dinner...a perfect time to slip off and rule the monster world. My children and I love this book so much. We have read it a hundred times. The audiobook is a joy to listen to and my kids got lost in the reader's voices. We highly recommend this audiobook for your children ages 2-92!

Fun for kids and parents

This is always FUN to read to your kids. But if YOU'VE never heard it read before, I strongly recommend that you download this and listen to the narration. Both you and your child will love it, and it will inspire your reading in the years to come.

First Synchronized Images

I thought the story was good, but not great. Same with the narrator, he was okay, but not any better than me reading it to my grandchildren. I could not get the images to come up on my Icloud player on the computer, but it worked great on my I-Phone. Would really like to figure out how to get it on a larger screen. This is a great idea, I am going to be getting several more this week to test drive before the holidays, when the grandkids are here.

My favorite story.

Max and the Wild Things are my favorite escape from daily life. The pictures are great. The narrator is awesome! The background music is in the background and when there are no words to be spoken the music gets louder. Perfect!!!

Audible app buttons in the way

Any additional comments?

I haven't seen these before, you know, the picture books on audible that have picture changes corresponding to the story as you listen to it. It's a shame that the current version of the iphone app has giant buttons blocking the view of the pictures. Why no hide option? For this reason, this and any picture book on audible becomes a bit of a waste of money for such a short audio clip and minimal visual experience. Fix the problem and the experience would be much improved.

Fun book, jazz music and illustrations.

This is a fun children's book about a little boy who visits a land of terrible beasts. The audio book has beautiful jazz music in the background. This edition also includes all the classic illustrations too! Great Bedtime Story!

Favorite book of all time.

Brings me back to childhood every time. I could do with less music and let the story just be read. I still lived it anyway.
