Really really good romance / coming of age

My favorite books are not in the strict romance genre, but have enough romance to make them at least 50-50 about the love story. That’s how this book was. There was enough romance even though the story was really about Kallie coming to terms with the hard things she’s been through and learning to feel worthy of the new life with her dad.

Touching story about family

So I was bored one day and wanted something light to read, just to pass the time. I found this by chance, was hooked by chapter 3. Not only is the story wonderful, touching, painful, and I thought, too realistic for comfort, but the narrator was over the top great. Now, this is not a long book, and not something that's going to stay with you forever and always, but it does make you think.

I have read this book 4 time 2 times my self and 2 times listening through audible I've been thinking about reading it again
