Lucas was like the best Disney day ever combined with a churro combined with a dole whip with extra pixie dust on top. He was the male equivalent of myself, obsessed with park history and the stories of Disney’s artists and Imagineers. But unlike me, he was free. Lucas reminded me of what I had lost, and who I aspired to be.
But I could never let him know the darkness of my past. Or who was leaving threats in my comments.

Lots of interesting facts
Kate does such a great job narrating her story. There are so many fun fact littered within and presented naturally. Although I’ve never been to Disneyland, I feel like I am there.
