I could so much relate to the grief in losing my own mother.

taking too long to get to the point where you find yourself or whatever. you lost me when you start obsessing about your counselor. are you trying to heal or are you trying to get laid? good grief

Courage to tell your story but zero actual path forward

This isn’t really self help… it’s just a story about her life. She was brave to tell her story but it’s definitely a memoir, not advice or self help. Eh don’t pay for it

I loved the story behind the book, but I feel like being in the self help category, it could have had more advice or ways to cope, ideas, strategies, etc. I know that no book fixes all, but when the title is so captivating, I was expecting more.
