AI is Terrible

AI isn’t ready to read a story. The times in the story are military but the AI reads the time as a number. One thousand four hundred and twenty one hours should be 1421 hours it’s annoying. Over and over. AI also mis pronounces some words. I won’t be picking another title that’s read by AI.

Intriguing concept for a first contact story

Good story with interesting characters and concept for first concept and the ways that the world grapples with it. Definitely worth a read!

AI narration is a little bit of a pity and was sometimes distracting, but I understand that it’s a way to get audiobooks made for smaller publishers/authors when the cost of real narration is limiting.

Read the book, skip the audio

This is an excellent story. The AI generated narration misses the nuance and inflection of a human narrator. I was so distracted and annoyed by misplaced word emphasis and misinterpretation of intent that I bought the book. I highly recommend that you do the same.

This book is 100% written by AI

This book is 100% written by Ai. Yes I know the narration is spoken by Ai too and at least the author doesn’t deny that. I have no problem listening to an Ai voice narration. What I do have a problem with is paying for the book written by Ai, I feel betrayed about that part of it.

As a guy who owns an Ai business, I’m with absolute certainty this was written by chatGPT. I’ll give that author some credit,’maybe 20% of the book he wrote but the rest was written by AI..

It’s a shame too, it wasn’t a bad start but too many signs of ChatGPT fingerprints all over this. I even scanned several pages and sent to Ai and even the model agreed it was Ai written.

In a world full of Ai slop, why are authors lying about writing books using Ai now? This is so frustrating too, if I would have known it was an Ai book, I wouldn’t have bought it. I feel scammed and betrayed.
