very good book

I had no idea how come of this book and I can usually figure him out very early on. lots of family drama lots of twists lots of betrayal very realistic my mom that was in denial as sisters that couldn't help so she fell in love with main character an alcoholic a disturbed cousin and protective who's aunt used to be the maid it was a great book

Slow start to an amazing thriller.

This book begins slowly, but it picks up by the 2nd chapter. The story deals realistically with trauma, abuse, and family dynamics but is not too heavy. It is a psychological thriller. The listener is cheering for Gray because she is a likable character. Trying to sort through her memories and make sense of what is going on keeps the listener on the edge of their seat. The narrators are great. There are several twists and turns but the author does not cheat. The real culprit is foreshadowed and the clues are all there. I did not see the ending coming. It is a great ending. It is a real ending, not just the author getting tired of the book. I really enjoyed this book.

What an ending!! Just when you think you’re so smart because you figured it out - it changes!! More than once!!

Fantastic narration that's worth a listen!

The story itself can be predictable at times but there is a twist that did catch me by surprise. I listened to this in 3 days. I absolutely loved that marvelous narration! I'm glad that I stumbled upon this one.

Great Story Line

Loved it except the southern accents were not good at all except for the voice of Nina.

Great mystery

I can normally figure things out right away,but this kept me wondering. I literally finished it in 3 days. listening only at work... fantastic read. I also loved the narration.

Intriguing!

This is the best book I’ve ‘read’ in a very long time. The characters all had a twist and the story kept you on your toes….right to the last sentence of the epilogue! Also thought the narrators were excellent! Highly recommend! I will search out more titles by this author!
