Publisher's summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author, J. Daniels.

The third book in the Alabama Summer series.

Author's note: When I Fall can be enjoyed as a standalone audiobook.

For the past nine years, I've kept my heart as far away from my dick as possible.

Those two can't be anywhere near each other. They don't play nice, and one of them undoubtedly winds up getting hurt.

Not my dick. My dick is good.

The women I take home know exactly what they're getting from me - sex. Nothing more. At least, that's what's supposed to happen. The sweet brunette from Kentucky I set my sights on tonight shouldn't have been any different. I had her right where I wanted her. Where I needed her. But when my past comes walking into McGill's pub, the woman in my arms decides to take things to a whole new level, putting me into a situation I never saw coming.

My heart is about to get f--ked. My dick can sit this one out.

Warning: This book is recommended for listeners over the age of 18 due to strong language and explicit sexual content.

Squeals!!!

I’m loving the series so far but there’s just something about a broken man whore falling in love that just makes me squeal! This was funny and cute and sweet. The relationships between all of the characters where great and there wasn’t any of that ‘unjustified irrational thinking that causes the plot twist’ foolishness going on! Loved it!!

Good up to the end

Beth escapes her streak of bad luck when she moves from Kentucky to Alabama where her newly found aunt lives. Reed wants nothing to do with relationships since his heart was trampled on nine years ago by his ex Molly. In an attempt to help him out, Beth spins a lie to Molly about being Reed's girlfriend - and begins them on a wild journey to a possible happy ever after.
I liked the story all the way to the end, but had a couple of scenes that took me out of the story near the end. These scenes just didn't seem to fit or felt rushed.
The narrators did an awesome job with this story. I've heard Stella Bliom and Eric Michael Summerer on several different audiobooks and have really enjoyed listening to them.

My Favorite of the 3

I wasn't sure about this book because I didn't really like Reese in the other books. But I wanted to listen to this one and wow was I glad I bought this book.

I think it might actually be my favorite out of the 3 so far :)

I have to say I loved this book! This is the third book in the series and the Hottest book...IMHO. This series threw me off because it is so sweet and so sexy too! Reed is a manwhore but he's thoughtful and when he falls...WOW! Beth is a girl with a troubled past but it doesn't effect her too badly. When these two come together its seriously FIREWORKS! The dirty talk in this book will make you melt!

This series is well written and I love that there isn't a ton of angst and drama. The narration is fabulous! I can't wait for the next book! hurry please ;)

Ohh Reed, I just love you!

If you could sum up When I Fall in three words, what would they be?

Love, Hope, Life-Changing!

What did you like best about this story?

I love the development of Beth and Reed's relationship from the very moment they first met!

What does Stella Bloom bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The voice behind the character. Of course you can always imagine what a character could sound like, but there is something magical about a character being brought to life!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Love, Healing, and Moving Forward.

HOT!

This has to be the hottest book in the series! Reed finally gets his story, and he discovers that having a relationship doesn't makr him weak after all. Beth has been so lost without having a family since her mother died, then she discovers she has an aunt in Alabama. Beth doesn't expect to find love as well. This is a love story that takes you through on discovering each other and getting over their own issues when it comes to being in a relationship. We also get to revisit Ben, Mia, Tessa, and Luke with a few surprises there as well. Warning this book is extremely steamy, so be prepared 😉

Ok

My biggest issue with book 1 and 2 was the immaturity of the characters. Thankfully with this couple it was much better. I'm actually surprised by that because Reed is pretty messed up in previous books. I'm actually good with how he handled his fall to Beth. I still have issues with how these couples could clear up misunderstanding if they would just talk to each other though. That's another one of my pet peeves.
