Love love love! The heartbreak was so real!!!

Oh the angst and heartbreak! I cried so many times! Not the ugly sobbing kind.... but there were a lot of tears! This is a story about Gabby and Dylan..... or is it? Could it be about Gabby and Slater? Well I won't spoil it.... but it was one of those stories that sucks you and and will not let you go! I feel like this review is so difficult to write because I don't want to give a lot away! But Gabby has know both men since she was a child. Dylan was her best friend.... Slater was her brother's best friend. All I kept thinking so many times was "why is Slater so freaking swoony!!!" But I will not lie, both men pissed me off a good few times! Gabby had some tough choices to make. And some of them were bound to break hearts.

I very much enjoyed this book.... as I was listening I was taking notes on my feeling about it.... and there were 3 whole pages!!! I had a lot of thoughts and feelings! The amount of times I had to pause the audio to write down my feelings was just unreal.... and I was listening at work! So I was supposed to be working!!!

The narration was great! I do wish that we had a bit more of Wen to listen to, but that can't be helped with the POV being mostly from Gabby. I definitely recommend this book to people who like love triangles, brother's best friend and angsty AF books!

Such a beautifully tragic story. I’ve only sobbed twice while reading or listening to a book and this was one of them. Get ready for all the feels and tears with this one!

Beautiful narration

Stories like this are the reason why Siobhan Davis is one of my favorite authors- an author so versatile that she can write all genres, all tropes, from gritty reverse harem and high drama mafia to the ultra angsty, heartaching, soul tearing love stories. And oh my is this the latter. When Forever Changes is a story that squeezes the heart so exquisitely, you may never breathe the same again. The anguish, the heartache, the swoon, the hope, and oh yes, some ugly crying- it’s a story beautiful in its turmoil, effortlessly emotive and entirely consuming.

I won’t say much about the plot because I don’t want to spoil anything, but hang on for a wildly emotional narrative. Second chances, best friends to lovers, love triangles, drama, past and present challenges- there’s so much complexity. Like love itself, Siobhan weaves a story that is full of contrasts. Beauty and pain, turmoil and authenticity, devastation and hope. Sioban chronicles the highs and lows of living and loving through these complicated by dynamic characters, who are also just learning to grow up, who are figuring out living and loving in so many heart-hurting ways. As usual, Siobhan captures our hearts with these characters, and with the right dash of foreshadowing and tonal foreboding we just know twists and heartaches are coming. And come they do. You’ll scream, you’ll cry, you’ll love and be frustrated by these characters in equal measure. But like always Siobhan’s creative brilliance brings us exactly where we were meant to be- each moment, each world, each feeling perfectly placed for just the right reason. But hold on to your hearts, this is NOT an easy love story- and one that had blasted tears running down my face multiple times before I turned the last page. And these characters, well each and everyone one will stay with you. Especially our heroine Gabby, my love for her lasted through every up and down, through all the mistakes, frustrations, and healing.

This story will break your heart- so may times. But trust in Siobhan to piece it back together in the end. The emotional gauntlet is worth every agonizing moment- because even with a fractured heart, love is what shines in the end.

The vocal performances are great- especially Sarah Puckett. She's one of my favorite narrators, she always bring such a powerful ethos to her characters, and she really captures all of the heart and compassion and emotion of Gabby. I loved the range of the performances, both bringing these characters and the heart of this story to life.

This is must read/listen. It’s a beautiful, emotional love story. You will need tissues. This author is amazing and talented and I would recommend reading any of her books

Fantastic

I have so many words for this book and to be able to hear it with these two amazing narrators was just icing on the cake. I read this book a long time ago. It was one of my first by the author. So reliving the connection the heartbreak and the love all over again was more than I ever expected.
