Publisher's summary

Grim reapers. Saving lives. Lessons in love.

For some, it's a fictitious world. But for Debra Stone, it's everyday life.

After a chance encounter with a man she enjoys throws her down a path she almost can't believe, she struggles to cope with her newfound purpose.

Saving lives.

Ushering souls into the afterlife - it can't be real, right? But the men who catch her in the act are real. And their adoration for her is very real.

The attention they give her is real. The words they whisper in her ears are real. But after running into a man who flips her already twisted world on its head, she questions everything once again.

Can Debra deal with her radically successful business, help others before Death takes them, and still have a love life? Or will it all come crashing down around her?

Grab a glass of wine, and listen to Debra’s story. Just be careful when drinking - the laughs can be dangerous!

Nice cover but not a good read/listen..

Oh, yeah! Talking about his horrendous snoring AND the fact that she would need a GAS-MASK to go back to bed with Brayden because of his FA*TS was real romantic. Even Debra said it was “absolutely gross,” when she woke up to find Death in the bedroom, wanting to talk to her.

Plus, Debra will sleep with anyone, first Carl, then Brayden, then Sam, then John. I can only guess at how many more there will be. She slept with Brayden Friday night, had a date for dinner and sex with Sam Saturday and the following Saturday she had a date with John, who she ended up in bed with, too. What a slut.

AND Debra “giggled” every time she turned around. OMG! Giggle, giggle, giggle. Don’t authors know that the only people who “giggle” are 15-year-old girls and insane serial killers. I have no idea why I finished this, since I hate books where the female MC has multiple sex partners and they giggle all the freakin' time.

About the sex? Well, Debra kissed her partners a lot. There was a little touchy-feely that went on, and a lot of none-too-dirty sex talk, but not really any sex. It was all fade-to-black.

Also, there was no HEA or HFN, no nothing. Debra ended up alone. I guess you’d have to read the next book if you wanted to know if she ends up with John, and that’s not going to happen. Between the snoring, the fa*ts and Debra’s vomiting I’m not interested in this author anymore.

And the F-bomb was used 44 times.

As to the narration: Hillary Huber was just okay for me. There was a lot of laughing going on at the end of a sentence, but the narrator DID NOT laugh. THAT and a narrator NOT whispering when the book calls for it are killers for me. I wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to Hillary Huber again.
